The 15th edition of the Saudi PPPP Exhibition, one of the largest industrial conglomerates in the field of plastics, petrochemicals, printing and packaging in the region,

concluded after 4 successful days of activities. The exhibition witnessed the participation of more than 426 local and international exhibitors from 26 countries, and took place at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center.

The exhibition, considered one of the major industrial shows in the kingdom and the GCC, witnessed the signing of numerous deals between exhibitors and other companies operating in Saudi Arabia.

In line with its leading role in building and strengthening the bonds of cooperation and communication between producers and industrialists, Saudi PPP attracted a total of 12,480 visitors, including industrials, consumers, specialists and scientists from around the world.

The exhibition encompassed a number of engaging activities for visitors interested in the petrochemicals and plastics sector including several workshops, among which was the workshop organized by The Saudi Export Development Authority titled “Exporting for the Growth of your Business”. This included an overview of exports and its importance in business development, and also covered important tips and tools for exporters. The four-day exhibition further discussed the advanced technologies, and sustainable techniques used in the petrochemical industry, and innovations in printing.

In addition to participating in the exhibition, SABIC’s technical experts also conducted a series of workshops on the advantages of the solutions they offer and presented a detailed explanation of their new initiative “NUSANED” –which was launched earlier this year, in partnership with a number of government agencies

and the private sector, in order to achieve its localization agenda and local industry development

Mr. Mohammed Al Hussaini, Executive Consultant, Riyadh Exhibitions Company Ltd., the organizing company of the Saudi PPPP, praised the success of the exhibition, which was aligned with the growth of the petrochemical sector in Saudi Arabia, noting the increasing interest in the exhibition year after year. He added: “The exhibition presented the participating companies with the opportunity to showcase their products and innovations in the petrochemicals, plastics, printing and packaging sectors, and to strengthen communication channels between exhibitors and other players in the petrochemical and printing industries. having said that, we believe this exhibition falls in line with the income diversification strategy and the growth of the industrial sector witnessed by the country, and contributes towards achieving the Kingdom’s Vision 2030. “

He added: “We would like thank all those who contributed to the success of the 15th edition of the exhibition, and extend special gratitude towards the patronage of the Ministry of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources. It is also worth mentioning that the exhibition, organized by the Riyadh Exhibitions Company Ltd., coincided with the sturdy growth witnessed by the Petrochemical, Plastic and Printing & Packaging industry, whose exports account for more than two-thirds of total Saudi industrial exports. It is expected that the plastic sector in the Kingdom will grow by 3.2% annually until 2020.
