Motor Show 2016, 2nd Dhaka Bike Show 2016 & Dhaka Auto Parts Show
2016”, held from March 31~02 April, 2016 at the International Convention
City, Bashundhara, Dhaka.
The Expo was a glittering showcase of the Bangladeshi & World
Automobile and auto-component industry. It revealed to the country, the
rapid developments in the industry and also has been a launching-pad for
many new vehicles as well as new technology components..
Renowned and leading Car / Motorcycle distributors & dealers along with
Lubricant Companies, CNG Conversion Companies and Automotive
Component Manufacturers & Importers from Bangladesh and abroad are
showcasing their products in over 200 booths. CEMS-Global has received
a huge response from the exhibitors for the motor show and has seen a
good increase in number of participants compared to last year. From
around 15 countries participants are participating at this expo.

‘3RD RALLYCROSS CHAMPIONSHIP 2016’ Motorsport event of Bangladesh thrills crowds
The joy and excitement of Motorsports came back
to Dhaka with the roar of the Car engines and
organizing of the `3rd Dhaka Rallycross
Championship 2016‟ organized by Bangladesh
Motorsports. The only Motorsporting event of the
country was held on 2nd April 2016 at the
International Convention City Ground,
Bashundhara. This third Motorsport event of
Bangladesh was held on the sidelines of the
`11thDhaka Motor Show 2016‟, `2nd Dhaka Bike
Show 2016‟ & „Dhaka Auto Parts Show 2016‟ held
from 31st March~02nd April 2016 at the
International Convention City Ground,
Bashundhara, Dhaka- Bangladesh.
Over 34 Cars / drivers participated in their
respective Group‟s targeting to be the Champion
of the day. The entire day, Cars and Drivers raced
for their best time thrilling the audience got their
taste of motorsports right here in Bangladesh.
Bangladesh Motorsports received a great
response from the participants with Individuals
and Corporate companies who participated as
Team Globatt, Team Nepal Automobile
Association, Team Yuasa Battery, Team Reload
Autos, Team Phillips 66 Lubricants, Team Car
House Ltd, Team GT Automobile BD, Team Haida
Tyre, Team BNO Lubricants etc.

The winner and Champion of the 3rd
Rallycross Championship 2016‟ was Mr. H.
M. Tauhid Anwar Avik of Team Globatt,
who brilliantly raced and recorded a best
time of 43.803 seconds. Coming in 2nd
Overall place not far behind was Mr. Saidi
Hossain of Team RAW clocking a best time
of 45.565 seconds. The 3rd Overall
position went to Mr. Sarwar Hussain
Chowdhury coming in with a best time of
45.968 seconds.
To support this 3rd Motorsporting event of
Bangladesh, „Karnaphuli Group‟ &
„Bangladesh Tourism Board‟ have stepped
up to be the Gold Sponsor of the event.
