A RECORD BREAKING YEAR 31% MORE VISITORSThe 2nd edition of GulfSol held from 14 – 16 September 2015 at Dubai World Trade Centre exceeded all expectations attracting 3,123 devoted industry professionals looking to source solar products from 35 exhibitors. The event was endorsed by Ministry of Energy UAE and was held under the patronage of H.E. Suhail Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy UAE. The event was inaugurated by H.E. Saeed Al Tayer, MD & CEO, DEWA and other government officials. GulfSol was acquired by dmg events in September 2014 from Bowhead media and since then has recorded 54% annual growth YOY.

It also saw the launch of a range of free to attend CPD certified workshops to add value for both visitors and exhibitors.

In total, GulfSol welcomed 2,394 unique visitors from the solar industry, an increase of more than 31% from the previous edition.

The highlight of this year’s event was the launch of Global Solar Leaders’ Summit which brought together over 300+ global influencers, senior government officials, academia, private sector CEOs and global institutions to discuss the opportunities and challenges ahead of the wider solar energy market as the regions work towards achieving diversified and sustainable energy portfolios through ambitious renewable energy targets.

Next edition: dmg events and Solar promotion have joined forces to form Intersolar Middle East event which will be held from 19 - 21 September 2016. Next year the event is guaranteed to be bigger and with more educational content to attract even more buyers.
