Application Process Application for Atlantic

universities and colleges usually begin in Feb. Students can apply earlier.

NSCC apply now *** Ontario universities require

earlier applications. Deadlines vary with universities…some in December/January

Save career expo applications (September 28th)

Transcripts are not ready until mid-February. Students apply in main office (Susan Algee)

Admission Information Students must check to

see that they meet the admission requirements and deadlines of universities/colleges of interest.

Students will be assessed based on first semester marks and grade 11 marks for early admission.

Most institutions require a fee to process applications i.e. $45

Most prefer an on-line version for faster processing

For those students interested in residence a separate application is sometimes required and earlier application dates i.e. MUN

experience while they learn in post-secondary environments.

Students with Disabilities If your child has a disability: learning,

developmental, psychiatric, attentional, physical, or sensory they may qualify for special grants and/or services at their post-secondary institution

Students should indicate on their applications and on student loan forms that they have a disability

Medical verification by a GP or specialist is usually required

Grants and services include: tutoring, notetaking, assistive technology, computers, etc.
