• The cut-in houses are said to have been built by the local people in the 16th and 17th centuries in order to "hide the village" and avoid the Turkish raids.

Calvary• There is on the

hill over Levice.• On Calvary is

chapel and some trees and historic stones.

• The calvary was built in the year 1702.

• The first mention of Jews in Levice comes from 1713

• Two years later, Levice‘s Jews appealed to authorities with a request to provide of interest to the Jewish synagogue but it was built only in 1883.

• It was rebuilt in 2009-2012.

St.Michael ChurchFirst mentioned in 1156.Its possible that it was built in 1203. Located on St. Michael street in Levice. On the benches in the church is shown life of St. Francis. In the crypt of the church was buried aristocrat Sigfried Kollonich.

Mill •The Mill was built in 1879-1882 on the site of an old stone mill from Esterhazy time. The new mill burned down in 1889, but it was rebuilt and became the largest industrial facility in the area.
