I am pleased to share with you the results of the Aviation Festival Asia 2016. Our 2016’s edition is the largest and most successful among the series of annual aviation events we are running worldwide to date. We were delighted to welcome more than 1,400 attendees to our 8 co-located events under the festival banners. Aviation Festival Asia 2016 provided attendees the opportunity to build knowledge, gain insights and share best practices. Rich content was generated from 16 panels, 24 roundtable discussions, and 69 individual talks – covering topics including outlook and business strategies, in-flight and on-the-ground experience, revenue management, payment technologies, distribution, talent management, digital marketing, loyalty and IT solutions in big data, cloud computing as well as automation. This shook up the industry with first-hand updates and innovations in every aspect of the air travel business. The two-day event attracted executives from the industry’s largest and most influential airlines, airports, equipment companies, service providers, consultants as well as government delegations. Many of these executives arranged a number of meetings with one another around the festival, confirming its reputation as not just an industry forum, but also a must-go event where real business gets done. Aviation Festival Asia 2016 also provided new opportunities for attendees to meet, network and do business in the expanded exhibition. Attendees had the opportunity to visit more than 60 stands in the exhibition, with demonstrations of the latest offerings in revenue management, in-flight entertainment and adjacent industry sectors, creating a vibrant atmosphere. In addition, this year’s show floor included a start-zone showcasing travel start-ups, iPad giveaways and drone and paper airplane competitions held alongside two full days of free seminar sessions. We are proud of the success that we have achieved at the Aviation Festival Asia 2016, alongside our sponsors, partners, exhibitors and speakers. We thank you for your participation and support and look forward to welcoming you back in Singapore in 2017. Warm regards, Sharon Roessen Managing Director Terrapinn Asia
