En funcin de artculo determinativo del sujetoGramaticalmente funciona como un artculo determinativo del sustantivo al que acompaa, por lo tanto siempre va antes del objeto. Ejemplos:

Mycar is blue.(Mi coche es azul.)

Hishouse is big.(Su casa es grande.)

En funcin de pronombreGramaticalmente funciona como un pronombre en funcin de complemento directo. Ejemplos:
