Summary: Mr. White was in responsible charge of a marine construction

company that operated in Long Island Sound and the Hudson

River. Projects ranged from residential piers and seawalls to

major waterfront developments which included bulkheads and

marinas. Mr. White was responsible for labor and equipment

utilization, business development and QA/QC.

Exxon Terminal in Bayonne, NJ. The design for which Mr. White

was responsible included new mooring and breasting dolphins. Mr.

White was responsible for the failure investigation and redesign of

the Azzawia Refinery breakwater in Libya.

Summary: Mr. White was a member of an in-house consulting group for this

worldwide leader in the offshore industry. Mr. White was involved

with a range of engineering assignments for this offshore

contractor. Mr. White was a primary designer for the installation

equipment used to install an offshore oil rig in 1,025 feet of water.

Mr. White oversaw the design and fabrication of a unique 1,200

metric tonne crane in Germany.

Title: Research Assistant

Summary: Mr. White was responsible for the design and model testing of a hot

water diffuser discharge system for the Maine Power Plant in Casco

Bay, Maine. This work involved creation of a physical model of

Casco Bay that included a full range of tidal current variations. As

part of his thesis, Mr. White performed research on the

transmission coefficient of rubble mound breakwaters. Mr. White

was under contract to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and his

work became part of the USACOE Shore Protection Manual.
