FootguardThe Posey Footguard helps prevent foot drop and foot rotation by maintaining the correct alignment of the foot. Foot rotation may be changed to any angle of internal rotation with the T-bar stabilizer. The Posey Footguard is ideal for geriatric patients, comatose patients, and following hip prosthesis or hip fractures. One size fits either foot.

application instructions:1. Place on foot with the sole of the foot resting against the long side of

the Footguard.2. Close the hook and loop closure straps. The entire foot is protected and

the heel lies directly over the cutout in the plastic to avoid pressure.3. Apply the T-bar stabilizer with the long edge resting against the mattress

Foot-drop splintPrevents foot drop and ensures correct leg position after hip surgery.

around the foot, calf and thigh.2. The end stabilizer bar may be adjusted to different angles of internal

Foam Foot elevator/Foam Foot stabilizerThe Posey Foam Foot Elevator and Posey Foam Foot Stabilizer provide economical and effective protection from heel ulcers and foot drop. Both products feature an adjustable strap that helps keep the foot upright in a neutral position. The strap secures firmly with hook and loop closures. Both products are constructed with dense polyurethane foam, which provides firm support and comfort. The Posey Foam Foot Elevator facilitates foot rotation and may be used in supine and lateral positions. The squared base design of the Posey Foam Foot Elevator helps prevent rotation and increases stability. Both products are intended for single patient use. One per package.

application instructions:1. Release the adjustable foot strap.2. Unfasten the hook and loop closures on the top to “open” the

elevator/stabilizer.3. Wrap the elevator/stabilizer around the patient’s ankle; secure with
