Systemic approach to the training path - principles

1) Work-linked training

1.1) Alternate extended blocks of in-class training at an

establishment of further education, and of on-the-job

supervised experience.

2) Innovation

2.1) Internalising new intervention practices within the

organisations.

3) Negotiation and flexibility

3.1) All the stakeholders interact throughout the training

process to better foster the skills development.

4) Continuous assessment

4.1) The engagement on a permanent constructive dialogue

towards youth insertion in the labour market.

INOVJOVEM – Young Executives for Innovation

Goal: integration of young qualified executives in small and medium

enterprises, stimulating innovation strategies and the reinforcement of

competitiveness

Path: vocational training programme focused on a triad composed by

in-class sessions/workshops, internship and specialised mentoring

Players: AEP as promoter; 385 enterprises, 506 trainees, 123 trainers,

137 tutors, 7 Evaluators

Employability Index: 66,67%

Female Entrepreneurship

Goal: foster female entrepreneurship

Path: stage 1 – Course on Entrepreneurship and Business

management

stage 2 – Consultancy to the business plan

stage 3 – job creation

Results: 8 out of 20 trainees created their own company
