DESCRIPTION
Vasco Da Gama Da Gama sailed from Lisbon, Portugal, around Africa's Cape of Good Hope, to India (and back) in many people thought that this was impossible because the Indian Ocean was not connected to any other seas. Trade with Asia was not welcomed by Muslim merchants. Portugal has to fight to defend its trade route and eventually gains control.
