ATTENDANCE: **STUDENT CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT If students are arriving late to campus, they need to check in at
the front office before going to class. To pick your student up from school early, park in front of the main entrance
and call the front desk at (949) 936-8200. If your call goes to voicemail, please come inside to sign out your student.
**Please be aware that students may not call in their own absence. Please be sure a parent or guardian calls into
the attendance line (949) 936-8201.

**BFB Winter Wonderland Fundraiser: Please consider supporting your Portola Bulldog Football Program, as we
roll out our annual Winter Wonderland fundraiser, providing Holiday Trees & Adornments for your family and
friends to enjoy, and/or DONATIONS of Trees, Wreaths, and/or Centerpieces to spread holiday cheer in the
community. Order online at http://www.BulldogFootballHoliday.com/ OR turn in order form with a check made
payable to BULLDOG FOOTBALL BOOSTERS, directly to Coach Abe or one of the members of our PHS Bulldog
Football team (ORDER FORM). Kickoff the 2020 holiday season with the Bulldogs and submit your order(s) before
the November 12th deadline by 5pm. Go Bulldogs! #PTP
**SPRING LOCKER ITEMS: Attention students. If you have any items that were left in the locker rooms from last
spring, you still have a chance to pick them up. For the month of October, every Wednesday and Thursday from
7:50am-8:25am, you can come by the training room area and meet either Coach Abe or Coach Smith to pick up
your equipment. Please see Coach Abe or Coach Smith if you have any questions.
CSF: **California Scholarship Federation: All students who applied to CSF last year need to join Portola CSF Google Classroom. The CSF class code is 33ejar7. All club and member information will be shared through Google Classroom. When a student applies to CSF, they know if they have enough points to be a member. All students who applied last spring are currently members. For more information please contact Mrs. Tubbs [email protected] **Registration for CSF will be in the spring for the fall 2020 semester. Current juniors and seniors who did not retroactively apply to CSF last year will have an opportunity to join at that time LEARNING COMMONS: **A lot of learners came through the Learning Commons this week to get Literature and Language Arts novels or Physics pilot books. The novels will need to be taken good care of since they will need to be returned and rechecked out to other students. The Physics pilot materials should be written in and then returned to the Learning Commons so the publisher can see how students are using their books. If a learner was absent the day of checkout, please come to the Learning Commons between 8am – 3:30pm to check one out. **The Learning Commons will start accepting payments next week for any fines accrued at Portola High School. An email will be sent out Monday if a learner has a fine on their account and you can also check for fines by logging into Destiny Discovery and viewing “Fines” from the menu. If you have the materials that are owed, please return them as soon as possible so we may clear your fine. We are open Monday 9am - 12pm and Tuesday - Thursday 8am - 3:30pm for you to return materials or pay fines. PARKING PERMITS/SMART START: **PARKING PERMIT ENFORCEMENT HAS BEGUN. The Parking Permit Application and directions for obtaining a permit can be found on the PHS website or by clicking HERE
