What Changes Has EPA Made to the Draft CIP?
Between November 2019 – Today, EPA has been: Reviewing informal feedback and comments received and revising the document
to reflect as many suggested changes as possible.
Some of the main changes that have occurred include: Improving the introduction sections and overall organization of the document. Reducing redundancy. Improving graphics to make them easier to understand and visually appealing. Creating a Tribal background section, instead of combining it with communities. Creating an Environmental Justice section, instead of an Appendix. Expanding on the Tribal and EJ history. Providing clarity on community involvement during remedial design and remedial
action Many others!
How will the EPA Collect Feedback on the Draft CIP?
EPA is utilizing a digital outreach platform called Konveio that takes regular PDFs and turns them into public documents that you can comment on online.
Konveio will collect comments and feedback live so that you can see others’ comments while you are commenting.
EPA will accept comments for up 45 days once the document is released to the public.

How will my Feedback on the Draft CIP be Used? Konveio collects the comments posted digitally. EPA will review all comments received and incorporate
necessary revisions and suggestions into the Final CIP. EPA will produce a high-level summary of the comments
received and revisions made to address comments. Depending on the number of comments received and if
needed, EPA will contact you individually for clarification.
