STUDIO PROJECT / CHALMERS UNIVERSITY (SE)
The project is placed in Uggledal, 12km far from Göteborg. Its form comes from a transition between a logistics park (west) and a typical Swedish residential neighborhood (east). The complex is developed creating a snake that changes its section during its length. Starts with a rectangular and tall building and ends with a little gable roof one. In the middle appears a space for amusement. All the apartments have an auxiliary room which serves, in case of need, as a healthcare unit where the nurse keeps all the medical equipment and passes through directly to the main bedroom.

STUDIO PROJECT / CHALMERS UNIVERSITY (SE)
Nowadays there is a tendency that diverges towards a society of self-sufficient independent induviduals. The aim of the project is to provide the independence in your own vital space but at the same time rein-forcing the connections between people trusting in a community system. Along with this though comes the idea of sharing as much as possible so the inhabitants will save money and space. In order to reduce costs we place the project in a residual plot and we use a prefab system. Everything is prefabricated, from the modules to the facade panels, and is supported by a steel structure which contains vertical connections.

STUDIO PROJECT / ESCOLA TÈCNICA SUPERIOR DEL VALLÈS (UPC)
The project aims to develop a very degraded zone from Sant Adriá del Besós and Badalona, located near the Besós power station. The urban project focuses on three streets: Sant Adrià’s Avenue, street running from the center of Sant Adriá del Besós to the sea, Eduard Maristany Avenue, which connects Barcelona with Badalona, and create a new seafront promenade, nonexistent in present. As a strategy we opted for the mixed use, which keeps companies (mostly logistics) on the ground floor and create new residential neigh-borhoods above. These new residents favor the creation of new stores, facilities and offices in the area.

urban analysis
The project appears from an analysis of the academic program. The workshops are the core pieces of each unit. There are six workshops grouped in pairs creating three units. All the other pieces of the program grow around them creating physical and visual connections in between. The total number of units form a group system flexible enough to be able to integrate various facilities ( library, canteen, gym...). Once given the location of the project, the system is implemented and modified in order to adapt to the peculiarities of the plot and, at the same time, to solve needs ans issues affecting.

“It was one of the most economical and, therefore, realizable projects. It went beyond the brief, in that it provides potential for further accommodation without major changes to the design or cost, in that the roof high can be adjusted to accommodate the upper level for other uses. The premise of the project is clear economy of thinking which includes the use of the shelf greenhouse,(...) It accommodates an insu-lated structure and allows for interstitial spaces that are both useful and poetic. The spaces provide a transition from the interior to the exterior,(...)”_Glenn Murcutt, Louisa Hutton and Patxi Mangado

RAINFED FARMING SYSTEM
WORKSHOP / ESCOLA TÈCNICA SUPERIOR DEL VALLÈS (UPC)
The workshop took place in Llardecans and Torrebesses, two villages of Garrigues Altes (Lleida). It was about the influence of water on the landscape, and how the lack of it also modifies the field. We saw how a construction of a canal for irrigating farming changed completely the traditional landscape. The human-ized territory, molded to please the basic needs, forms also a specific way of acting and working on it. People adapt to the land that has been molded to answer the particular water cycle. So we can say that water affects the landscape as well as the people. Both adapt to water.

PAUSE WOOD SHELTER
WORKSHOP / ESCOLA TÈCNICA SUPERIOR DEL VALLÈS (UPC)
The workshop took place in locations related to the Danish Design School in Nexø, Bornholm. The program aimed to study concretes unseen potentials, primarily by use of textile as a most flexible form material. Form investigations were made in gypsum and details were tried in full scale concrete, before four 1:1 projects were realized on site: a bridge, a wall, sitting sculptures, and store places for firewood. Social activities, visits to culture and architecture on Bornholm and excursions to works of Utzon, BIG and Lundgaard & Tranberg Architects, were also part of the program.
