„As a concert photographer I havebeen on the road for over
20years, and have captured imagesof all the greats of rock and
pop,from AC/DC and Britney Spears tothe Rolling Stones and
Zappa.For some years I have had a pa -rallel activity, composing
photosin the fine art genre. In this areastyle and aesthetics are
the overri-ding criteria of my work, in whichthe subjects are often
only lightlyclothed. Perfect organisation andplanning, as well as
time-consu-ming work, are the characteristicsof this type of
photography. Thereare many interesting and good-looking women who
are preparedto undress for the camera.However, I believe it is the
combi-nation of a model with an outstan-ding ambience that makes a
spe-cial photo. This is why palaces,museums and gourmet
restau-rants are my preferred locations.If, in addition, the model
is able topose skilfully, I am content. Thehallmark of my
photographs is notintended to be massive use oftechnology, but a
feeling for a sti-mulating and tasteful image. Mygoal is to excite
the viewer’s ima-gination. When the model and theowner of a stately
house look atthe result and say ‘wow!’, then Iknow I have achieved
this.“

habe von AC/DC über BritneySpears bis zu den Rolling Stonesund
Zappa bereits alles aus demRock/Pop Bereich vor der Linsegehabt,
was Rang und Namen hat. Parallel dazu komponiere ich seiteinigen
Jahren Fotos im Fine-Art-Genre, wobei Stil und Ästhetikoberste
Maxime meiner oft rechttextilarmen Arbeiten sind. Opti ma -le
Vorbereitung und Pla nung undviel Zeit charakterisieren diese
Artder Fotografie. Interessante undgut aussehende Frauen, die
gerneHaut zeigen, gibt es viele. Docherst die Kombi nation eines Mo
-dells mit einem außergewöhn-lichen Ambiente macht den Reizeines
besonderen Fotos aus, somein Credo. Inso fern sind Schlös -ser,
Museen und Gourmetlokaledie bevorzugten Locations meinerShootings.
Wenn das Modell esdarüber hinaus versteht, sich ge -konnt in Szene
zu setzen, bin ichzufrieden. Nicht massiver Technik -einsatz,
sondern das Gespür fürdas prickelnde und geschmackvol-le Bild,
sollen meine Bilder cha-rakterisieren. Die Phantasie desBetrachters
soll angeregt werden– danach strebe ich. Wenn dasMo dell und der
Schlossherr beimBlick auf die Fotos ein ‘wow’ aus-stoßen, dann bin
ich zufrieden.“
„En tant que photographe de con-cert je parcours le monde
depuisplus de 20 ans et j’ai pu voir défi-ler devant mon objectif
des grou-pes tels que AC/DC ou les RollingStones, des chanteurs
tels queZappa ou Britney Spears, en bref,tous ceux qui ont un titre
ou unnom célèbre. Parallèlement, depu-is plusieurs années je
composedes photos d’un style plus ‘Beaux-Arts’, bien que la
recherche esthé-tique soit la principale préoccupa-tion de mes
travaux souventpauvres en matière textile. Unepréparation optimale,
une grandeprécision ainsi que du temps ensuffisance sont les
caractéristi-ques de ce genre de photos. Il exi-ste quantité de
belles femmesintéressantes et prêtes à se dévoi-ler. Mais seule
l’accord entre uneambiance particulière et le modèleprovoque le
résultat d’une photoexceptionnelle, tel est mon credo.C’est
pourquoi les châteaux, lesmusées et les restau rants
raffinésconstituent mes lieux de prédilec-tion. Lorsque le modèle
intègreles possibilités de se mettre enscène, je suis heureux. Dans
mesclichés, je n’utilise que peu demoyens techniques, et je
privilé-gie l’instant de la naissance d’unephoto pétillante et
pleine de goût.L’imagination du spectateur doitêtre éveillée, voilà
ce à quoi j’aspire.“
