Green Light responds to telemetry and other patient monitoring systems.

Red Light responds to nurse name tags. This is to show if a patient is being checked on.

Blue Light responds to visitor name tags. Helps nurses see if the patient has visitors from outside.

Final ProductThe final product is a 3-light system showing different events happening in the patient room while being outside the patient room. The purpose of Light Alert is to take away all the false alarm sounds and turn them into visual alarms. It won’t take away the more vital alarms, but it will at least help the nurses by eliminating noise traffic. How it Works

It’s installed outside the patient room. A green light will start blinking when the patient is in need of assistance. It is hooked up to patient health monitors so it inform nurses if there is a problem.
