Assumption on Urban Scale

Other than existing examples of development of historical area, the assumption focuses on intensive development of culture and commercial business separately on two different levels.

I suppose the folk museum the head of the whole area based on traditional housing and context, and platform and connections of houses help create integrated site.

Desalination Pond

Reverse Osmosis Desalination| Salt MoundThe system consists of Desalination Lab- facade of which is to collect solar energy, Reverse Osmosis Machines- with pressure a exchanger, and Desalination Pond to exhibit the purifi ed water and gather the by product- salt as the Growing Monumental Landscape in Doha,Qatar.

The wetland is to purify the output water which contains Chlorine after the reverse osmosis process. Native species which can thrive in both fresh and brackish water environment saying phragmites and Cyperus papyrus, are utilized to fi lter water and provide Recreation Space.

Surface seawater trickles down the front wall evaporator, drawing down the air into Greenhouse; Saturated air passes through the condenser which is distilledu using cold deep seawater. Humid Micro-Climate in be-tween greenhouses creates comfortable environtment for visitors’ enjoy.
