Las viviendas 33 son un prototipo mediante el cual se pone a prueba el sistema de vivienda adaptable 33.El sistema consiste en la utilización de espacios habitables 3x3x3 para la composición de viviendas. La prefabricación viene prácticamente dada, lo que le dará su carácter adaptable.

Se vuelve necesario un receptáculo, una envolvente que define un espacio de 6x15x9 atravesado por vigas cada 3 metros. La envolvente debe tener 4 funciones: sustentar, orientar la vivienda, paso de instalaciones (los módulos se ‘conectan’ al muro’) y dar la inercia térmica de la que carecen los elementos prefabricados.

Se trata de la vivienda perfectible. Una vivienda que se adapta al usuario, y no al contrario como suele pasar, pues las viviendas cambian de habitantes y estos ademas evolucionan.No hay dos usuarios iguales, luego no habrá dos viviendas iguales.

Al trabajar el módulo el proyectista consigue controlar en todo momento la medida de los espacios que esta proyectando.Del mismo modo el usuario comprenderá también que espacio está adquiriendo cuando compra un módulo.

Para comprobar la viabilidad del sistema 33 se seleccionan cuatro usuarios tipo y se procede a testar dicho sistema:la familia fértil, el estudiantes de enfermería, pareja de jóvenes arquitector y el bohemio solitario.

33 dwellings is a prototipe that proves the feasibilty of the 33 adaptable dwelling system. The system consists on the use of livable 3x3x3 meters units when designing residential architecture. The prefabrication is practicaly inherent to the system.

A receptacle is now needed. A space of 6x15x9 meters is created, and transverse beams cross every 3 meters.The container must have 4 main functions: support, facing, systems and thermal lag.

It is a perfectible dwelling. It adapts to the user, and not the other way as it is more and more common to find. Two equal users do not really exist, therefore we shoudnt create two equal dwellings. Whats more, the same user suffers a evolution that changes its needs.

When working with clear measured units a architect is able to control in every moment the space. Also does the user when thinking about buying a new module.

In order to check the feasibility of the 33 system four user types are chosen and we proceed to do the test:the fertile family, the nursery students, young architects pair and the lonely bohemian.

El área de intervención propuesta está afectado por multiples condicionantes en todo su perímetro.Al norte, el barrio del Torretjó es uno de los barrios más deprimidos de la localidad además de estár construido sobre una loma. Al sur algunos edificios aislados junto al monte de la ermita conforman un frente discontinuo. Al oeste uno de los ejes principales (C/ Pare Pompillo) define un claro límite donde comienza la trama de ensanche. Mientras, al este, la huerta y algunas unifamiliares aisladas completan el rompecabezas.

La propuesta crea una trama capaz de coser todos estos elementos apoyándose en un eje verde que va recorriendo los equipamientos y conecta la ermita y la nueva iglesia.

Las tipologías edificatorias van variando y decreciendo desde el rotundo frente al eje principal hasta las diluidas unifamiliares que permiten fundirse con la huerta.

The intervention area is a complex location, which is afected by many factors.At north it borders on the Torretjo suburbs, one of the most depressed areas of the city. At south we find isolated buildings that together with the chapel mount conform a broken front. At west one of the main streets (Pare Pompillo St.) defines a clear limit of the city center. At east we find an orchard area with isolated houses between them.

The proposal creates a urban weave which is able to sew all those elements, using a green axis that connect all the facilities from the new church to the old chapel.

The building tipologies decrease in size and density from the main street until the orchard area.

MAGATZEM es un espacio adaptable. La textura imprime carácter al lugar. Allí no se condena apoyar un pie en la pared y el polvo en los cristales matiza la luz lejos de ser visto como un signo de dejadez.

Se trata de un espacio de trabajo, de acopio abierto; de exposición contínua, libre y cambiante.

Alejado de la representatividad no merecida y en busca de una neutralidad que tan solo se verá truncada con la llegada de las obras que hoy tal vez se encuentren aún encriptadas en el subconsciente de sus creadores.

MAGATZEM is an changeable building. The texture stamps character to the place. Here, leaning the foot against the wall is not condemned, the dust on the glass blends the light instead of being perceived as a slackness sign.

It is about a place for artists to work, a place for stock-piling; a place for a constant, free and changeable exposition.

Far away from being a representative building, it looks for the neutrality that would only be shattered by the arrival of the works of art that today are still encrypted in our artist’s mind.


MAGATZEM se concibe como un compenente más de una densa red de museos, galerías y salas de exposiciones que descubrimos en Ciutat Vella.Esto influirá en el diseño del programa y el carácter del nuevo centro de arte.

La estrategia a nivel urbano es recuperar la división en 4 partes de la manzana histórica generando recorridos que la vuelven permeable y nos conducen hasta el corazón de la intervención.

Encontramos allí una pequeña plaza que articula las distintas piezas del proyecto y nos sirve como vestíbulo exterior común a todas ellas. Un lugar de transición entre la ciudad y los espacios interiores.

MAGATZEM is conceived as a component of a complex network of museums and art galleries that can be found in the Old Town.This fact has been taken into account when thinking about the program and the essence of the new art center.

The strategy around the urban aspect is the recovery of the past block divided in four parts, generating different routes that make the intervention area more permeable and guide us to the heart of the project.

There we find a small square that articulate all the pieces and also works as an outside hall. A transition place between the city and the inner spaces.




MAGATZEM nace a través de la revisión del programa de centro de arte contemporáneo y su condición de no museo.Un centro de arte contemporáneo es más que un lugar donde exponer, se trata de un generador de arte.

Distinguimos 3 grupos principales de actividad:TALLER, ALMACÉN (materiales y obras) y EXPOSICIÓN.

La actitud cambiante de un centro de arte no nos permite saber que actividad ocupara más espacio en cada momento.Se crearán por tanto espacios capaces de albergar cualquiera de las tres actividades permitiendo que se trabaje y almacene en el mismo lugar donde se expondrá la obra generando así un CICLO de actividad fluido que lo mantedrá siempre vivo.

Se aprecia como este modelo favorece la continuidad en el uso del edificio. Se producen solapes en las actividades que coexisten en un espacio ‘continuo’. Se crea así la posibilidad de abrir al público ciertos talleres y almacenes, entendiendo que el proceso de creacion puede ser tan interesante o más que la obra terminada.

Se trata pues de poner en valor el proceso en sí mismo. Entederlo en parte como un fin en sí mismo y no solo como un medio.

MAGATZEM comes up from the the art center program checking and its non-museum condition.A contemporary art center is more than an exposition, it is an art generator.

3 main activities are distinguised:WORKSHOP, WAREHOUSE and EXPOSITION.

The changeable attitude of the art center doesn’t let us know which activity will take up more space in each moment.Therefore it would be interesting to create spaces capable to accommodate any of those activities. If it is worked in the same place where tha work will be kept and exposed, we will generate a fluent activity CYCLE that will mantain alive the building.

This model favours the continious use. Activity ovelaps are produced coexisting in a continious space. It is created then the possibility of making public workshops and warehouses, understanding that the creation process is as much interesting as the ended art work.

Versatilidad y simplicidad son las adjetivos que mejor definen estas piezas de hormigón en masa. Pensados para adaptarse al medio e interactuar con la ciudad y los ciudadanos.

Trisquet:La geometría surge de la descomposición de un triángulo, por ser ésta la forma que mejor facetea superficies 3D. Empleada en diferentes posiciones conforma diversas tramas y elementos urbanos usando una única pieza.

Sextam:En este caso la descomposición de un hexágono nos permite lograr una forma más simple que genera una mayor diver-sidad de tramas aparentemente complejas pero que definen con facilidad ángulos de 90º.

Versatile and simple. These are the best adjectives to descri-be this concrete mass models, thought for non-specific use in urban context, but for interact with citizens in many diferent ways.

Trisquet model:The shape comes from a simple break down of the triangle, which is the best geometry to cover 3D surfaces. Used in di-ferent positions allows many diferent paving systems, and also urban elements.

Sextam model:In this case, the shape results more simple than the previous, allowing even more paving systems. Here it was of especial im-portance to keep the possibility of a triangular system to cover 3D surfaces, but also to allow 90º angles on the perimeter.

New Frames consiste en la proyectación de un sistema más que de un edificio concreto.

Se ofrece un catálogo de elementos basado en el ‘mar-co’ que permiten construir habitáculos multifuncionales y efímeros.

Se emplea así la prefabricación y la construcción en seco como aliadas de la adaptabilidad, algo funda-mental en las cambiantes necesidades de la Universi-dad.

New Frames was designed as a system instead of pro-jecting an specific building.

It is offered a catalogue of elements based on the ‘fra-me’ that favour the construction of a multifunctional and ephemeral architecture.

Prefab system is used in order to provide versatility, which is essential due to the changing needs of the University.

Situado en uno de los parques más antiguos y frondosos de Valencia, la estrategía elegida para abordar el proyecto fue la de enterrarse para provocar el menor impacto posible en el entorno natural. Esta idea está también ligada a una con-cepción del acto de leer como algo intimo y personal, que se refuerza así por la atmosferá de cueva, iluminada en ciertos puntos a través del techo. La forma en tres alas viene dada por el programa, pero también para integrar el edificio entre los árboles preexistentes, sin tener que cortar o transplantar ninguno. El método constructivo también se ajusta a este fin: los muros pantalla se construyen primero para luego excavar la zona entre ellos dejando los árboles que quedan cerca del perímetro intactos.

Situated in one of Valencia’s greenest parks, the strategy cho-sen to face this project was to build underground in order to bring minimum impact at the natural envoirment. This idea was also related to the concept of reading as a personal intimate issue, which is reinforced by the cavern atmosphere, naturally iluminated throught the ceiling. The three branches shape is given by the program, but also to integrate the building in between the trees, without cutting anyone. The simple cons-truction method is also designed in for this purposal: concrete diaphragm walls are build first, preserving the trees, and then the interior is dig and covered.

El programa explora el acto de leer, no solo de gente leyendo sola sino también en sus posibles interacciones: dos estraños que se encuentran y comparten un pasaje de algun libro, una poesia, un escritor leyendo sus propios libros para un gru-po,.... Al trabajar sobre un espacio vacio (la estructura queda resuelta por los muros perimetrales) cada ala se destina a los diferentes usuarios: niños y adultos, y consisten en un espacio de mayor tamaño para 25 personas y pequeños recovecos en un tabique de cartón-yeso que permiten encuentros de una o dos personas. El tabique de cartón-yeso esta diseñado para proveer el necesario aislamiento acústico donde es necesario y para permitir la comunicación en ciertas partes de dos per-sonas que lean a través de él.

The program explores the reading act, not just consisting in people reading alone but in those people interaction: two stranges meeting and sharing some reading, one person rea-ding for some other its own texts,.... Working on a empty space (structure is solved in the perimetral walls) each branche is des-tinated to diferent users: kids and adults, and consist in a big space for 25 people meeting and small flexible plasterboard rooms for one or two people meetings. The plasterboards are specific designed to provide enought noise reduction and to include the artificial ilumination.

3B2M3 son 3 bandas onduladas de 2 metros cúbicos de hormigón armado desplazadas entre si.

Funciona como elemento de mobiliario urbano don-de los universitarios pueden sentarse o tumbarse man-teniendose una interrelación entre los situados en las distintas piezas.

Su forma orgánica le otorga ergonomía y le confiere un valor estético que le permite integrarse entre le resto de obras del jardín de esculturas.

3B2M3 are three wavy-two cubic meters bands made of reinforzed concrete.

It works as street furniture where the students are able to sit and lie, keeping a relationship between the three pieces.

Its organic shape stresses its ergonomy and esthetic va-lue, which makes easier the insertion between the rest of the works of art from the sculpture garden.

‘La almohada de hormigón’ es un estudio de las propieda-des plásticas que el hormigón puede llegar a ofrecernos. Nos muestra como un material tan duro y pesado puede llegar a mostrarse blando y ligero.Supone además un homenaje a Miguel Fisac, quien ya hi-ciera uso de estas interesantes propiedades del hormigón.

La pieza forma parte de la exposición del stand de Ce-mex desde su creación, estando presente en las ferias de construcción de Construmat 2007 Barcelona, IFEMA 2008 Madrid y Cevisama 2010 Valencia.

‘The concrete pillow’ is a research around the plastic pro-perties of concrete. It shows how such a hard and heavy material is able to be perceived as soft and light.It also entails a tribute to Miguel Fisac, who already worked and took profit of this interesting properties of concrete.

The piece took part in the expositions made by Cemex in its stand in many trade fairs such as Construmat 2007 Barcelo-na, IFEMA 2008 Madrid y Cevisama 2010 Valencia.

El proyecto -3ºC surge de un compromiso: reducir 3ºC las extremas temperaturas máximas de la calurosa localidad en las inmediaciones de la intervención. La utilización generalizada de superficies permeables junto con la exuberancia vegetal y la presencia de agua permitirá una moderación climática de varios grados, aspecto clave para ofrecer un espacio público de calidad.

Los árboles y en general todo tipo de vegetación contribuyen a mejorar las condiciones ambientales y de habitabilidad de las ciudades: aumentan la calidad estética, moderan las temperaturas extremas, absorben contaminación atmosférica como ruidos y polvo, atraen avifauna predadora de insectos molestos, producen espacios de sombra y, en definitiva son un elemento esencial para crear en el subconsciente del urbanita una sensación de profundo bienestar que no aportan otros elementos inertes.

Es por ello que los árboles y la vegetación se convierten en los elementos principales estructurantes del paisaje, a los que se van acoplando los demás: trazados de caminos, materiales, pavimentos, infraestructuras, etc. Pretendemos devolver a la vegetación el protagonismo que nunca debió perder frente a soluciones demasiado artificiales y alejadas de las verdaderas necesidades de los ciudadanos. Se pretende, en definitiva, contribuir a crear una ciudad más bella, funcional y habitable.

The -3ºC project arises from a compromise: to reduce 3ºC the extreme maximum temperatures of the city arround the intervention area.The widespread use of permeable surfaces, next to the vegetable exuberance and the presence of water will produce a climatic moderation of several degrees, something that could increase de quality of the public area.

Thats why the trees and the rest of the vegetation become the main elements that structure de landscape, the rest of the elements join to them: paths, materials, paving, infrastructures, etc. We would like to give the plants back the prominence that should never have lost, against artificial solutions long way off the citicens needs. It is expected, definitely, to contribute to the creation of a beautiful, functional and livable city.

MICRO ESPACIOS VERDESMICRO GREEN AREAS

Con este microproyecto se pretende contagiar a todo el núcleo urbano de la necesidad de incrementar el arbolado y fomentar la interconexión peatonal del nuevo eje.

A partir de la utilización de los recorridos peatonales existentes se propone la creación de áreas de descanso y tertulia, acompañadas de mobiliario urbano y sombra. Para ello se puede emplear part del area resevada para aparcamiento.

This microproject pretends to spread to the rest of the town the need of increasing the number of trees and the connection to the new green axis.

By using existing pedestrian routes, new rest areas are created. A part of the parking areas could be replaced by urban furniture and trees that will provide shadow.

“ARBOREM ADAEQUANS-1*”*Que parece un árbol. Proyecto en proceso de patente.*That looks like a tree. Patent in process.

Arborem adaequans-1 es un árbol con tronco metálico (acero cor-ten), y hojas de material sintético reciclado. La disposición, orientación y altura de las hojas se adecua a las necesidades de cada localización.

Usos:

- Adelantar la creación de sombra, en zonas donde los árboles no tienen el tamaño de copa pretendido. Al ser fácilmente movibles, cuando el árbol crezca, se retira fácilmente y se instala en otra ubicación.

- Para crear sombra en punto o áreas específicas: acompañando bancos, paradas de bus, etc.

- Como soporte de luminarias, banderolas, placas de tráfico y semáforos.

Arborem adaequans-1 is a metalic-trunk tree (cor-ten steel) with recycled sinthetic material leaves. The position and aspect of these leaves depend on the needs of each case.

Uses:

- To create shadow in places where trees have not grown enough. As it is a portable element, as soon as the tree as grown up the arborem adaequans is removed and placed in another location.

- To create shadow in specific areas: next to a bench, bus stops, etc.

1. Recuperació de la potència dels murs:La sala d’exposicions s’entén com un espai entre els dos murs, es recupera la potència d’aquests desmontant la co-berta existent i deixant-los emergir a la superfície. S’encaixa una nova coberta entre els dos murs introduïnt llum cenital difusa a l’interior.

2. Generació del pati-auditori:Es dignifica l’accés a la sala per un pati que s’acota amb un nou mur, que genera també unes grades formant un au-ditori a l’aire lliure. En el pati es recupera i restaura el mur original de fàbrica.

3. Plataforma escenari:Es disposa una estructura de perfils IPE de mur a mur, i sobre aquesta una plataforma que pot funcionar com a es-cenari cap a la plaça i com a soport de telons o pantalles cap a l’auditori.

4. Retícula de palmeresLa resta de la plaça es manté lliure, amb una sèrie de zones de terra compactada i una retícula irregular formada per les palmeres existents, mantenint algunes i altres reubicantles. Aquesta retícula de palmeres, permet la colocació de toldos per a generar ombres per a diverses activitats.

1. Promote and recovery of the walls:The expositions hall (ancient wine cellar) is a space created between two walls. Those walls are shown by removing the old roof giving them the oportunity of emerging. A new roof is located between both walls at a lower level, this lets the difuse light come inside.

2. Generation of the auditorium - courtyard:The entrance to the building is improved by the generation of a courtyard between the new wall and one of the old one, which brick tecture is recovered and shown. The grades let this space work as an open air auditorium

3. Plataform - stage:An IPE structure is set out from wall to wall. Wooden planks are layed on creating a platform that can work as a stage for the square or as a support for a screen for the autorium.

4. Palmtrees net:The rest of the square becomes then free and continious. The earth part of the floor recieve the palmtrees irregular net, from where awnings are hanged in order to create shadow and delimit different areas

Grupo Trisquet es una equipo creado a principios del 2010 por un pequeño grupo de arquitectos recien titulados para participar en concursos publicos de arquitectura. También solemos trabajar como colaboradores autónomos con diferentes estudios de arquitectura y empresas constructoras del área de Valencia en la redacción de proyectos, maquetas digitales, infografias, videos y presentaciones...
