BiografiaBiography

Jorge Ozalla borns in Madrid in 1991, in 1996 he moved to Tenerife where he

studies until 2009 whenreturned to Madrid to study interior

design at the IED. During his career he develops different interior design

projects, which are characterized by most organic in form yet and

functional.We can see it in some projects for example: a child shoe

store,a little apartment in the center of Madrid, a stand at Ifema, a travel

agency or a hotel.He is currently doing the final year thesis of the carrer in

June 2012.

Jorge Ozalla nace en Madrid en 1991. En 1996, se traslada a Tenerife donde cursa sus estudios hasta 2009, cuandoregresa a Madrid a estudiar Diseño de Interiores en el IED. Durante su carrera,desarrolla diferentes proyectos de interiorismo, que se caracterizan por ser la mayoría orgánicos en su forma y a la vez funcionales.Lo podemos ver en ejemplos como: una zapatería infantil,una vivienda en el centro de Madrid, un stand para Ifema, una agen-cia de viajes o un hotel. Actualmente se encuentra realizando la tesis fin de carrera que finalizará en junio de 2012.

max n´carolSurge la necesidad de crear espacios infantiles diferentes,ya que todas las tiendas destinadas al publico infantil resultan ser repetitivas y aburridas, por ello aparece Max n´Carol .Un lugar donde la imaginación es la principal protagonista.Inspirado en el libro “Donde Viven los Monstruos” esta zapatería infantil en la que domina el negro nos hace cree en el niño salvaje y rebelde que habita en nuestro interior.El negro junto con las explosiones de colores, se unen junto con espacios curvos que nos dan la idea de estar dentro de un cuento infantil, para que la experiencia de compra en este lugar sea completamente diferente, y en donde todos nos podamos sentir como niños.Proyecto realizado como una franquicia de zapaterias infantiles y donde se realizó ademas el branding de la marca coorporativa.Diciembre 2010

It helds the need for different children's spaces, all shops are aimed

at children to be repetitive and boring, so it appears Max n'Carol. A place where imagination is the main

protagonist.Inspired by the book "Where the Wild

Things Are" this child shoe store dominates the black and believes in the

wild and rebellious child that lives within us.

Black and explosions of color gets together, with curved spaces that give

us the idea of being inside a children's story.So that the shopping experience here, is completely diffe-rent, and where we can all feel like

children.The project is carried out as a

children's shoe store franchise and where the branding was done besides the

the Treasure of jackProyecto de reforma realizado en una vivienda localizada en la Calle Luis Vélez de Guevara, en el centro de Madrid.Partimos de un espacio de 25 m2, que debíamos adaptar para un actor de cine. En este caso a Jack Spa-rrow se le ofrece un camarote ins-pirado en el de un barco pirata del siglo XVIII,donde la madera tratada en el mar y los rincones sencillos y funcionales forman este pequeño lugar,en donde cocina y baño se dividen en cuatro apartados dife-rentes o en donde aparece nada mas entrar una litera-comedor. It starts with a space of 25 m2, we should adapt to a film actor. In

this case, Jack Sparrow is offered a cabin inspired on a pirate ship of the XVIII century, where manu-

factured by treated wood in the sea makes simple and functional

corners, where the kitchen and bathroom are divided into four separate sections or where it

appears nothing but get a bunk-room. February 2011

organic walkResulta de un espacio expositivo realizado para exponer los diseños de Patricia Urquiola, Sharon Mars-ton y Mathieu Lehanneur para el stand de MIIM (Museo de diseño de Interiores e Industrial). Partiendo de un espacio dado se levanta un lugar de formas organicas cuyo fin es el de hacer un recorrido entre los tres diseña-dores y en donde se aprecian tres ambientes distintos adaptados a cada uno. Está inspirado en la naturaleza ya que los tres diseña-dores hacen referencia a ella en sus diseños ademas de contar para su fabricación con los objetos artesanales.Abril 2011.

Starting from a given space it rises aorganic space whose purpose

is to make the three designers travelling around three different

environments tailored to each designer.It´s inspired in nature

becouse they makes references to it in their projects and also counting

with the crafts to their manufacturing.April 2011.

Travel SpiralProyecto de ejecución en el que se diseña una agencia de viajes que estaría situada en el nº 48 de la calle Gran Vía de Madrid, en un edificio de nueva construcción.En un espacio de 600m2,se levanta un lugar para organizar viajes,que parte del concepto de la bola del mundo que una vez seccionado se convierte en una espiral,que es la protagonista de este lugar y la que se encarga por tanto de ir defi-niendo todos los pequeños espacios en donde se van a concertar los viajes.El pavimento enmoquetado delimita tres secciones de la agencia,que usan los colores carac-teisticos del globo terráqueo.También cuenta con un auditorio o salon de actos en la parte posterior del local, que puede destinarse a un espacio poli-valente. Execution project in which it is designed a travel agency that would

be located at No. 48 of the Gran Via street in Madrid, in a new

building.In an area of 600m2 ,this space

rises to organize trips based on the concept of the globe once seve-

red becomes a spiral that is the main character of this place and who is responsible for defending both go all the small spaces.The

carpeted floor is divided in three sections of the agency, in addition to use characteristic colors of the global earth.It also has an audito-

rium or hall in the back of the room, which can be used as versati-

di point hotelProyecto de reforma realizado en el edificio situado en la Calle Larra nº 14 de Madrid. A partir de este edificio surge un nuevo concepto de hotel destinado a los diseñadores tanto nacionales como internaciona-les, para que este sea su punto de encuentro.En la planta baja aparece un lugar que llamaremos Meeting Point, que es donde se les da la bienvenida a los diseñadores.El espacio se com-pone de una tarima central utiliza-da como espacio polivalente y en donde alrededor se realizan distin-tas funciones como tomar café nave-gar por internet o tomar una copa en el bar.Todo el hotel tiene un protagonista principal,que es la malla realizada con cuerdas negras, que teje gran parte de los espacios del hotel y que surge del concepto de la interacción entre todas las ideas de los diseñadores y por lo tanto de su creatividad.Las habitaciones se dividen en dos espacios: el primero para descansar situado en una planta elevada, y el segundo para trabajar. Dos funcio-nes privatizadas en el hotel, para que el diseñador disponga de una mayor comodidad. Diciembre 2011

Reform Project held at the building in Larra Street nº 14 in Madrid. This building is considered as a new hotel concept destinated for

national and international desig-ners, so this is their meeting

point.On the ground floor appears to call

a Meeting Point, where designers are welcomed.This place takes a

central stage used as a multipurpo-se space where all around is filled with different functions as perfor-

med as coffee,using internet or drinking a cocktail.The hole hotel

has a main character who is the mesh made of black strings, which weaves many of the spaces and the

concept that arises from the inte-raction between all the designers'

ideas and therefore creativity.The rooms are divided into two

spaces: one for the rest, located on a high floor and the second to

work. Two functions are privatized on site for the designer to have a

greater comfort.December 2011
