TerraTrike.com

The maker of the worlds most comfortable ride. Acting as the Marketing Director for more than 13+ years, I was respon-sible for the strategy, design, management, and creation of their web-sites.

This latest iteration was created using WordPress with custom-built plugins and additional back-end PHP programming.

I shot photography, art directed, shot and edited video, did the graphic design, wrote much of the copy as well as implemented several digital marketing campaigns involving the site.

Fostering Trike Communities. Built as a social community site, it is a place for like-minded recumbent trike enthusiasts to meet and create group rides and activities. Relying heavily on the Google Maps API, users can drop a pin to indi-cate where they are located as well as search for others in their area. They can also form riding groups, advertise and post schedules to invite others to join.

ImmuneCyte.com

Immunotherapy and immune cell banking. ImmuneCyte develops a proprietary multi-component cell separation system to give individuals an opportunity to store different components of the blood when one is still young and healthy. The stored healthy im-mune cells can help fight cancers in the future.

I developed this site from ground up using WordPress and Woocom-merce. Taking direction from their CEO I was responsible for the look and feel, page design and image acquisition as well as coordinating the copywriting and lead generation strategy.

The site uses woocommerce to solicit monthly memberships.

TTU.TerraTrike.com

Online Learning Programs To Make TerraTrike Experts. TerraTrike University is an online e-learning platform for the dealers of TerraTrike recumbent trikes. It was designed to educate mechanics and employees the intricate steps needed to assemble each model.

Built on a custom PHP platform, it includes chaptered videos set up in a college-type curriculum.

Users must enroll, and then step through each “class” watching videos and then completing am exam with a passing score.nGraduates get a diploma, free swag, and the shop gets a certified deal-er badge.

GRR.org

Getting There Is Better Here. I re-designed the Gerald Ford International Airport website in 2006 acting as the Director of Media at Felder Communications. It featured several improvements from its static design, including bolder graphics and photography, real-time online flight status and an online parking calculator. To this day I still do edits to this site including the parking calculator.

The site won an Addy for design.

BaileysGrove.com

A Community In It’s Truest Sense. Baileys Grove is a community in West Michigan featuring beautiful award-winning landscape, great schools, family-friendly and commu-nity events. They wanted a website that showcased all these elements to entice new homeowners as well as give current owners the ability to manage the various amenities available. (pool memberships, dues, club-house rental). Custom-built using PHP and MySql, I even shot photography, created all the design and even wrote most of the copy.

There is also a backend admin section for the community administrators to maintain the site and changing prices.

LaidBackCycles.com

Sacramento, NorCal and Bay Area Recumbent Trike Dealer. Laid Back Cycles is the Largest Recumbent Trike Sales and Service Cen-ter Located in Sacramento, California.

I was approached to update their website and configure their products to be more user friendly. The goal was to increase online orders. Not only did I streamline the site, but did an extensive SEO update re-working keywords on on-site optimization.

This site is in WordPress and woocommerce.

SilentBark.com

SilentBark is West Michigan’s premier party band. Formed in 2006, SilentBark has been an established cover band in the West Michigan arena playing hundreds of shows and gaining thousands of fans. I am not only designed the website, but am the lead guitarist. I am responsible for all the marketing and digital curation for the band, our website, social media channels and new business acquisition. I’ve shot all the video, much of the photography, audio and even de-signed the swag we give out at each show.

IvyCottageMI.com

Everything for your beach home, cottage or farmhouse all in a cozy, relaxed setting. Ivy Cottage is a retail establishment in Hart Mi that caters to the home decor customer. Being that their season is based around summer tour-ism and a very localized area, they needed to promote their business online to entice vacationers to visit. I was able to establish a very basic but appealing web and social media presence for them and then augmented with heavily promoted social media advertising. This boosted their walk-in traffic and created a buzz within the community.

It is now one of the top gift shops in the area.

CoverBandCentral.com

It’s The Music That Matters. Cover Band Central is a place for Musicians and Bands, Clubs and Bars, and anyone in the business of cover music to unite, network, find gigs and players and share stories. This site was built using WordPress and several custom-built plug-ins letting the user set up a personalized profile page and search for other like-minded musicians. The site also relies heavily on a forum that fosters community and social media sites that amplify the marketing.

GrandApps SEO

Grand Apps is one of the biggest app agencies in the Midwest.

Before creating this detailed proposal, they had no idea how much they were under-utilizing their DR (domain authority). I put together a detailed proposal in regards to SEO – by showing them momentum/statistics of competitors. I presented this report to their CEO, CFO, and partner in the business.

My goal with this report/proposal was to find opportunities (low key-word competition and high volume). It gave them a sense of KPI metrics and potential based on DR. I accomplished this by diving into Ahrefs and finding the best route to success based on our expert-level vision and experience.

Digestive Warrior SEO

Digestive Warrior hired me to produce a detailed SEO report.

Summary of the report included:• SEO Overview – Vision of where their website stood currently with SEO• On-Page Summary – Insights using Ahrefs analysis of what needed to be fixed on-page• Keyword Targets – Based on analyzing their business, I developed key-words that would get the quickest bang for their buck (highest volume vs. competition). These keyword targets were long-tailed and I factored these based on their DR.• Content Strategy – I put together a detailed content strategy based on keyword research and opportunities for replacing broken articles. Once I had this report, I tackled everything piece by piece, and helped them with implementation. I prioritized everything based on ease of fixes and overall effectiveness so the client could manage a lower bud-get.

Click Funnels and Landing Pages are used by business owners to drive more leads, sales, and new customers. It is a very effective way of gen-erating leads, especially when coupled with a strong email nurturing process.

Guide your visitors step-by-step through the entire sales process (so they don’t get confused or LOST, and leave) and point your customer straight to the ONE product or service they need most to help solve their problem.

I have built and implemented many of these for small to large business-es.

Online Contest Marketing

Online contest marketing is an easy and cost-effective way of getting leads and creating a buzz for your product or service. Coupled with So-cial media advertising and a strategic email nurturing process, I’ve pro-duced several highly successful campaigns. Contests allow entrants to perform a variety of tasks to increase their chances to win. Sharing, visiting sites and provided viral activity helps with the success of the contest and provides a low-cost way of growing a lead base. I’ve created several successful contest for a variety of clients.

From social media ads, corporate videos, independent films, and broad-cast television commercials, video creates an impact that static images can’t.

I’ve created many different videos to promote products and services. From production, shooting, editing to providing the music and voice-over, I can do it all.

I have also directed, written scripts, acquired talent and even flown the drone on these examples.

Print Marketing

Print materials are still a very important medium in Marketing. In fact, certain demographics dictate it. I’ve created many different types of print materials over my career. Cata-logs, print advertising, sales materials, mailings, newsletters, packaging, instructions and yes even Yellow page ads - remember those?

Having a strong command of the tools needed to create these as well as a keen eye for detail is crucial in a well-designed piece. I’ve been working with the Adobe creative products since their inception as well as other page layout, graphic design, illustration and print production applications. I also have years of experience art directing teams as well as performing on-site press checks.
