Multi-family building 01
The project is a multi-family building designed for no specific area. The floor is planned as a combination of two flats, each 90m2, and to flats/office premises each 50m2.The roof of the building serves as a comunal area for all the occupants.
Housing arrangement in Pich Aguilera 02
A new railway station will be built in Pich Aguilera (Rubí). As a result, the whole area will have to be rebuilt. The old industrial area will have to be converted into a housing area with a commercial area that will serve as a new city center. The site is holling land bounded on the north by a railway line and on the south by a river. The aim of the project is also to link the railway station to the rest of the town. The project is based on this idea and tries to take advantatge of the uneven terrain. The top of the buildings on the lower ground will be a public space, where a pederestian zone will be created. This will connect the station, which stands on higher ground, to the town of Rubí.

Bioclimatic house 03 The aim of the project is to research new ways to save energy. The house will be a farmhouse, some of whose walls will be constructed like a hollow cages, that can be filled with animal feed.In winter, when the storage spaces will be full, the walls will isolate the house. The days pass, the animals will consume the food, and by summer the cages will be completely empty. Then a Cross ventilation will be created. It’s also interesting, that the appearance of the hous will change according to the season

Santa Anna square renovation 04
Santa Anna square is situated between the old town and Cataunya square (the most important meeting point in Barcelona). Despite this, the square is hidden, dilapidated and not frequented by the public.There are two important buildings Santa Anna’s church and an eleven-storey building, constructed in the sixties. The aim of the project is to facilitate easy acces to the square and return it to the citizens. For this to be achieved, two suggestions have been made.First, part of the above-mentioned building, which impedes acces to the square, will have to be demolished.In addition, a “lookout” can be created on the rooftop of the same building, which will cause the public to visit the area.

Linz, harbour renovation 05 Linz is the 2009 european Capital of Culture. Consequently the whole city is being renovated and redesigned.One of the replanned areas is the Linz Harbour, where the level of the commercial activity is at present very low.In our project the area will be used as a testing ground for new types of housing and new ways of living.The two harbour arms are dedicated to council housing and private housing.The aim of the project (in the council housing area)will be to experiment with the public and the space and the private space, using some parts of the council housing buildings, such as the roofs or the ground floors as public spaces by creating lookouts or squares.

The Karlsplatzs 06
Karlsplatz is a very important point in the city of Vienna. Naschmarkt, Sezession, the Opera House, the university, the Musikverein and other important buildings are all to be found there. Unfortunately a ring road runs throught the square and creates a barrier for the pederestians. The aim of the project is to link the two sides of the square with a walkover. It will continue naschmarkt activities over the ring road and short pederestian walkways will connect the square’s different points of interest. A tower will be built as a reference point and as lookout of the town.

WALKWAY URBAN FURNITURE
Renovation and enlargemnet in St. Pölten 07 At St. Pölten’s municipal school has organised a competition to improve it. The aim of the renovation are: to recover use of the rundown spaces in the basement of the building, which have no sunlight; to change the layout of some classrooms and add a few more.The project proposes a refurbishment of the structure of the building to allow for bigger classes. Also the lowering of the level of the courtyard to allow sunlight to enter to the basement and an enlargement of the school.

GENERAL VIEW
Municipal library in Cubelles 08 The library of Cubelles needs a new municipal library because the present one is very small and dilapidated. The chosen place for the new library has some pre-existing urban elements which will have an influence on the layout of the library.On the left side the plot includes a green zone,which could be a park; on the right side a police station with a compound for vehicles is facing the street but there aren’t facing the plot. At the top and at the bottom a street ends in the plot.The project tries to face this two different sides (police station and park) and create two different spaces, one more dynamic facing to the park and the other one more closed hidding the compound’s wall. The Hall, in the middle of these different spaces, has two entrances at the top and at the bottom to allow the pass throught the library.
