Meraki Creative Mobile App

Maraki Creative is a network that connects musicians, photographers, designers, artists and writers to those looking to hire them. This allows these creative minds to use their talent in a way that will benefit both them and the client.

In its early stages, Meraki needed help in further developing its brand. This mobile app makes Meraki more accessible by streamlining the process of connecting creatives and clients.

Ignite Media Infographic

This infographic is designed to display the most important statistics of the Ignite Media website.

Each illustration is purposely designed to highlight the most compelling statistics. The design encourages the viewer’s eye to move through the infographic with ease.

Global Treat, Inc.

My responsibility as the Marketing and Design Coordinator, was to streamline and promote the identity of the company.

To the right, you will see the product brochure I designed. I focused on simplicity and consistency. I left a generous amount of white space to ensure that the brochure would feel light and readable.

I went on to create brand guidelines that Global Treat employees were asked to follow when creating or updating brochures and other marketing collateral.

On the far right, a screenshot displays Global Treat’s blog. I was able to significantly enhance Global Treat’s overall presence on the web through creating and maintaining its blog. Relevant tags and links were used to successfully increase SEO.

Buddha’s Brew

Work from capstone Advertising courseat the University of Texas at Austin

Our objective was to develop an advertising campaign that incorporated a rebranding effort for a local Austin Kombucha tea brewer, Buddha’s Brew.

I wanted to create a clean, modern logo that was easily recognizable amongst competitors. The logo was designed to allow simple adjustments in order that the label could easily adapt to each flavor.

The Treehouse

This is a t-shirt designed for a reunion held at a rugged cabin in the woods of East Texas. It was my vision to create an illustration that would capture the simplicity and primitive character of the cabin.

Central Texas Mountaineers

Upper-Division Advertising Account Planning Course at the University of Texas at Austin

The problem Central Texas Mountaineers faced was gaining new climbing access at local parks. We had to come up with a strategy that would allow Central Texas Mountaineers to communicate the facts of rock climbing in the midst of the stigmas that surrounded it.

After research, our group decided that Central Texas Mountaineers needed to connect with community decision makers and influencers with hard information rather than fluff. These are a few illustrations we used to explain the idea of communicating statistics and real information to this group of people.

Tau Lambda Sigma

This tee shirt was designed to be sold as a fund raiser at a Christmas party. This Austin based organization sent all the financial proceeds from the shirt to a non profit organization that provided gifts to underprivileged children.

WOODWORK

Woodwork

Woodwork serves as another creative outlet of mine. The feel of the textures and the smell of the wood brings a project to life. I enjoy creating these projects with my hands and how these pieces evolve and begin to tell stories of their own over time.

My pieces create a sense of home. They are well used and constantly have life flowing around them. This motivates me to continue creating and has been an aid in maturing my workflow.
