A focus on the futureOur Vision is to be “a world-class business, creating successful places where people aspire to live”.

There for othersWe established the Berkeley Foundation in 2011 to make a difference beyond housebuilding. In just five years, we have committed £7.9 million to our charitable partners and programmes, £2.7 million of which has been raised by Berkeley staff.

We have won awards for the impact we have made on communities and local areas, but perhaps the most important contribution is that made by our staff. Along with our Give As You Earn scheme, they have biked, trekked and baked their way to raising over £2.7 million for the Foundation’s charitable activities.

The Berkeley Group matches their donations pound for pound and because of their incredible support we are able to tackle some of the biggest issues facing society today:

Jobs – Creating jobs for young, unemployed and homeless people

Where we operate

The Berkeley family

Established in 1976 Berkeley Homes is the largest division within the Group, operating within London and the South of England. It delivers a diverse range of projects from large regeneration sites with 4,000 new homes to specialist projects such as the Crossrail station at Royal Arsenal Riverside.

Established as a joint venture company co-owned by the Berkeley Group and Prudential Assurance Company. The powerful combination of the two companies’ strengths and complementary skills provides a strong vehicle for delivering unique residentially-led developments.

Originally a joint venture between the Berkeley Group and Thames Water, handles projects that embrace private residential development, commercial property, recreational and community facilities.

Specialises in high quality mixed-use sustainable regeneration, in central London, transforming large areas of brownfield land, reviving the city landscape and creating thriving new destinations.

Established as a joint venture company in November 2014 to bring forward under-utilised National Grid sites for housing.

Working in markets that we know and understand, we operate in London and the South of England – delivering new places which are socially, environmentally and economically successful.

The Berkeley Group is made up of five autonomous companies; Berkeley Homes, St Edward, St James, St George and St William.
