Numbering” enables you to automatically generate consecutive project
numbers according to your naming conventions.
Have an overview and keep control over the way in which elements are
numbered and make it easier for users to keep track of elements as they
can be numbered in a hierarchical way using code masks.

Advanced Project Numbering Functionality
This Portfolio and Project Management Consulting Solution allows you to
automatically generate numbers for new projects and inherit this number throughout
the project in a hierarchical way. This solution uses standard PPM objects and is
fully integrated into the PPM user interface.
Automatically generate project numbers based on code masks
Keep track of elements as they can be numbered in a hierarchical way
Have one hierarchical numbering throughout the entire objects: Initiative - Item –
Project
Numbering can be used for project templates as well

The Portfolio and Project Management Consulting Solution “Advanced
Numbering” enables you to automatically generate consecutive initiative
and item numbers according to your naming conventions. In addition, the
user can define different code masks for different buckets.

Advanced Portfolio Numbering Functionality
This Portfolio and Project Management Consulting Solution allows you to generate
IDs for items and initiatives depending on buckets automatically in a hierarchical
way. This solution uses standard PPM objects and is fully integrated into the PPM
user interface. Moreover, this solution allows you to have projects inherit numbering
from the corresponding item in portfolio management
