DESIGNLunenburg House

My site in Lunenburg, NS was a large through lot with a great view of the ocean. In my design I wanted to take advantage of these views and provide a connection from my street to the har-bour front below. To do this, I cantilevered my design onto the building below and separated the live/work functions into separate buildings, ccreating a public path in between.

The Buvette Cachat was designed by Jean Prouve and built for the Evian water company in 1956. Located in Evi-an-les-Bains, France the building serves as an event pa-villion and features Y shaped beams that support the structure with pivots and tension rods.
