The 3rd Year studio completed individual projects for the ACSA/AISC 2009-2010 Steel Design Student Competition for the Re-Ligare Institute: Reconnecting Body & Mind. On a site adjacent to the Salk Institute in La Jolla, CA, each student developed a spa & body/meditation center, in conjunction with a neurobiological research center to explore both the physical and intellectual connections between body and mind.

Cafe/Upper gallery space for a Sculptural Park5th Year work: A Sculptural Park. Design of cafe/administration building and park elements shown. Park elements are to be experienced as artful pieces, and are meant to promote the awareness and appreciation of an everyday environment (public park), but moreso, an everyday environment specifically oriented toward interest in the arts.

A case study of the ‘Big Dig’ House in Lexington, MA. The project was meant to be a learning experience for Revit Architecture software, as well as a study in typical building flow, construction details, and sustainability options for residence.
