SailrepeaterDesign of a device for professional sailors where wind speed, water depth, temperature, etc. is shown. Target group wereTarget group wereprofessional sailors.The use must be keptsimple and fast, andthe styling appeal tothese people.No use of 3D-CAD, because this was thebecause this was thefirst project.

1st trimester Group project

I made serveral concepts, where twowere chosen as a concept. We presented three concepts to the client. Where one client. Where one was chosen.I did the technical parts, so everything fitted in each other. Result was an electrical device atthe wrist of the sailor. the wrist of the sailor. Data is shown on a big screen. 2nd trimesterIndividual project

I made some concept idea’s. Unfortunatly some where patended. Sigarillio PackagingCreate a total new cigarillio packagingfor six small cigars. It must be innovativeand appeal to a younger crowd to improve the marketimprove the marketshare.

3rd trimesterGroup project.

We made three concepts for a packaging, with each a different lookand opening mechanism.One was chosenOne was chosenby the client.Afterwards we did are-design according to the comment of our client. So I came to a concept that looks concept that looks and feels like a lighter. I made a fullyinjection moldable3D-CAD model, thelabeling, renders and a 1:1 foam model with a CNC model with a CNC router.

Africa VerhicleCreate a car for the African market with low cost, local production andassembly in Africa.The project was acooperation withcooperation withstudents of Automotive Engineering. Theydelivered the engine, gearbox etc.

We started with tworesults of last year and continued it.We came with a basic truck with multi-functional and safe features. It can be features. It can be used as a market stall and personal transportation. At the presentationhalfway the projectthe client chose the concept of the handmoved standard.First I changed thepostion of the handlepostion of the handleto the steer, so the use is easier.Finally I did a full engineering. Creative Industry WeekShanghai15 - 21 October 2008

For an exchange workshop with theDonghua University (Shanghai) six students were allowed to go to Shanghai. After a Shanghai. After a selection procedure I was one of the selected students.There we did a twoweek project together with students of Donghuastudents of DonghuaUniversity about future transportation.We participate at an exhibition aboutdutch design wherewe worked on the project.project.

After a lot of brainstorming we finally came to oneidea. Which was tomove all the transport to the upper level of the upper level of the city. So more spacewill be created forgreen facilities on theground level. I came with this ideaand made all the visuals in Corel visuals in Corel Painter and Rhino.

PrototypingThis skill is based onmaking models.During every projectat school it is essential to make models. It is very important to test important to test ideas or to prove the working of it.It is very usefull to optimize the ergonomics and design, because theprototype is real.prototype is real.

The use of materialdepends on what Iwould like to show and in which way.I worked wit differenttypes of foam to create shapes. But I create shapes. But I am also experiencedwith a CNC-router,STL models, severalwood and metalprocesses.

Graphic designFor my work as manager of a flat Iorganized several party’s. For promotion of these party’s I made allflyers in Photoshop.flyers in Photoshop.I also made a fewcustom DVD coversfor own use.

Currently I am working on a promotion flyer fora restaurant.a restaurant.

Do-It-YourselfAs some kind of hobby I like to makemy own furniture.I make it dependingon my own wishes. I like to design it anduse my creativity touse my creativity tocreate objects I useevery day. It gives me a satisfiedfeeling.

One of the main creations I have made is a piece ofmade is a piece offurniture for my tv and some other stuff.First I made some sketches, then a 3D-CAD model to view the proportions.Finally I made it outFinally I made it outof wood.

The most recent project I have donewas a new two-person bed.I started with some sketches in Painter, sketches in Painter, then I made a technical drawings and finally I mademy bed.
