Genesis Meditation Centre
This design is one for a spiritu-al centre. It was undertaken by a two-man group which I was a part of. We chose to design a meditation centre because the ambience is less formal than that of a church. The objective of the design was to create a space for ultimate reflection and connection to God. The centre is located in a Christian University Campus and was inspired by:

DRAWINGS
These are technical, presentation drawings and a conceptual sketch of the meditation centre. The shape of the building from the top represents the Holy Trinity and the intersection of the three is rep-resented by the water body. There are two enclosing walls, the outer shell has holes through it which dramatically fills the dark space between the two walls with light.

Eko Hotel Ecoloft
This project was a task to de-sign a zero impact loft on top of an existing building of our choice. It was undertaken by a four-man group which I was a part of. We chose to locate the building atop an existing luxu-rious hotel located in Lagos, Nigeria. A lot of factors were taken into consideration when designing the loft including:

These are technical and presentation drawings of the zero impact ecoloft. The concept behinnd the design was going back to the basics i.e using the materials and construc-tion techniques that were used in the past for such tropical regions such as mud, bam-boo, wood etc.

Futuristic Hotel Room
This project was a task to de-sign a futuristic hotel room. It was undertaken by a four-man group which I was a part of. We chose to design the room with inspiration culled from the sci-fi movie ‘Aeon Flux‘. The movie provided design principles upon which the hotel room design was based upon.

DRAWINGS
These are technical drawings of the hotel room. The bed is the major stucture in the room and it is an epitom of the futuristic design principles the room was based on. It is fluid, intrgrated with bedside tables, has integrated lighting, curves and has one form.

Contemporary Luxury
This project was a task to create a living space for any client of my choice.
Meet Angela Stead.......AGE: 29STATUS: SingleOCCUPATION: SocialiteAngela loves to party but doesn’t like to take the party home except when hanging out with very close friends. She is living the glamor-ous life as she just came into some new money. During her spare time, she reads and loves to shop. She is currently in New York for socialite business and needs a space that brings the charm of her mansion in LA.The design objective was Create a space that is glamorous and a bit feminine but also comfortable enough to make her close friends that come around stay longer.

Rendered view of the living room space. The space is decorated with a lot of shiny mate-rials to give it that decadent hollywood regency atmosphere but ar rhe same time, it has warm looking colours and materials that give that contemporary comfort. Layout done using Autocad, 3d modelling and rendering done using 3ds max.
Rocking Garden Chair
This project was inspired by the need to come up with a seating and storage idea that would be totally different from the norm.
It is an outdoor chair and the unique thing is that its storage is for plants.and when these plants are in full bloom, it would be as though the chair is part of the garden.
RENDERED VIEWS
Views of the garden chair from different anngles and description of concept develop-ment of the garden chair. The plants themselves render aesthetics to the chair. All are real plants except the artificial grass cushion on the seating area. All rendered images modelled and rendered using 3ds max and sketches done by hand and Adobe suite.

FREEHAND DRAWINGS
Glow Cups
The purpose behind this design is doing something highly creative and economical with the basic disposable white plastic cup we use everyday.
I came up with some form of wall art that can be used as a hung wall art or some form of space divider especially in dark spaces such as clubs. Th ecups are cut into half ; arranged on a base board; painted with glow paint and then coated with a sealer so that it could last for at least 5 years.
