Kiah Reading is a contemporary artist based in Brisbane,
Australia. Readings art practice engages emerging media and
technologies, kinetic/immersive installation, and performance
within questions of social responsibility, sexuality, hedonism and
media-saturation. His works playfully fold together these visual
codes, often eliciting and resisting interpretation at the same
time. In doing so, these artworks aim to make present underlying
systems of meanings attached to modern living. Kiah also works
within the art collective, Golden Solution, as they aim to design
situations that provoke the ethical hotspots of
contemporaneity.

A party as an ecosystem; cocktails are dispensed through wall
mounted drinking vessels. The displaced uid is then deducted from a
central shtank containing one goldsh. The wirelessly networked
system in-turn tracks the movements of the sh, using them to
distort music playing through the event.
