To truly enjoy a vacation you must completely vacate all aspects of your life that have become routine. Going to a new place and seeing new things can make you feel alive again. While I was in Puerto Rico I was inspired by the beautiful scenery, the lovely colors and the organic rich textures. My portfolio illustrates snapshots from PR from which I created a few sketches of simple, yet special dresses that capture the essence of the time I spent vacating my life.
