ANOTHER PARKING LOT ALLOWS DIFFERENT ESCAPE ROUTES IN AN EMERGENY AND CREATES CLEAR VIEWPOINTS FROM WITHIN THE SITE

Constraints ° Only one drainage

° people have to park to access the stores and bank

° no shade in the middle of the site during the day

° noise from cars and buses take away from the relaxing ambience

° ground is slightly sloped and will have to be leveled to build on top of it

° some views into the site are blocked by trees

Vision statement

Le reve park serves as a

gathering space for visitors

and community members of san

luis obispo. Its multiple pedestrian paths

ensure a friendly and open circulation.

the center of le reve features a foun-

tain and sculpture as a landmark and

fits nicely with the aesthetic of the sur-

rounding trees. vegetation serves as a

buffer to minimize noise and contribute

to users’ peace and comfort. le reve aims

at supplying its visitors with a lively yet

relaxing setting to socialize and enjoy

the views of the fountain.
