Through extensive research and development Mosebach has developed the bed bug heater, BK1™. This heater is ideal for professional exterminators, hotel owners, apartment owners, and housing authorities. Unlike similar bed bug heaters, this heater can be used without a generator. This heater uses only the
power circuits available in most commonly infested areas, such as a hotel room. To power this unit you can use either six 120V circuits or one 240V. This unique option makes the BK1 ideal for any power configuration available to you without the added expense of a generator.
All our bed bug heaters use Mosebach’s own stainless steel heating elements that use ZERO ceramics and ZERO welds to make our heaters some of the most durable and longest lasting on the market.

Applications The BK1 is ideal for killing bed bugs and other pests in hotels, hospitals, apartments, dorm rooms, military barracks, nursing homes, and cruise ships. Since our heater are electric they are extremely quiet and there is no risks that are associated with fuel fired heaters such as: harmful fumes, odors, fire, explosion, or water vapor that can cause mold. Making Mosebach’s heaters the ideal solution for residential or commercial applications. Heating ElementsOur SlimLine™ heating elements technology utilizes a continuous stainless steel ribbon design. The design allowed us to eliminate all welds and ceramics pieces from our heating elements. With no weak spots from welding or breakable parts such as ceramics our heaters can take a beating and keep on heating. All of the heating elements are supported by solid non-conductive mica panels on the top and bottom to eliminate caving or the elements themselves from
touching. All of these innovations results in some of the most durable bed bug heaters on the market.CoolingMosebach’s own SlimLine™ Stainless Steel heating elements are cooled by one integrally mounted and powered, single inlet, low noise, 65dBA, 10”, 120V, 1 Phase, 60Hz axial fan with thermally-protected PCS motor. Blower voltage will be taken from the 120V Master connection. The 10” axial fan is extremely quiet and will provide a low noise working environment.Controls

switch· One digital remote programmable
thermostat with 2 sensors & 50’ cables, selectable up to 150°F Power
Power ConnectionEach unit comes with one 240V receptacle and six 120V receptacles, and is rated for 120V/240V, 1 phase, 60Hz. Current consumption on the 120V will
be 14A for the Master Plug connection and 13A for all other 120V connections. Six 15A separate circuits are required for 120V operation (for maximum BtuH output), or one 240V connection at 37.5A is required for maximum benefit. We recommend 20 amp single pole breakers for the 120V and 50 amp breakers for 240V.Safety
Fuses on the control side, over temperature switch set at 210°F (automatic reset) and photoelectric sensor to monitor the airflow. NOTE: power source shall be fuse protected and grounded. Options available for purchase· Two, 10’’ Wheels and one
