History of port Adelaide power football club?
Port power entering the AFL in 1997. The club, coached by John Cahill, On joining the AFL, teal blue and silver were added to the famous
black and white, along with a new nickname, Port Power (since changed to Power), to avoid a clash with the Collingwood Magpies.John Cahill was appointed inaugural coach of a young Power squad,
led by Brownlow Medallist and former player Gavin Wanganeen.After two seasons of just missing out on the finals, Mark Williams was appointed coach and in his first season, 1999, took Port Adelaide to its
first finals appearance.After ten seasons in the AFL, the Power has competed in finals six times, including five consecutive years. It has won two pre-season premierships in 2001 and 2002, finished minor premiers in three
consecutive years (2002-2004) and won the club’s first AFL Premiership in 2004.

What facilities do port power use to train for matches.
• Port power train at Alberton oval in port Adelaide they have there own gym, pool hot and cold bath change rooms, room were they keep the boots, footballs and Guernseys, a waits room, a room were they get strapped, have massage and the trainers and physios have a office and up stairs administration staff.

What do players do to maintain good nutrition to prepare for games?
• Prepare for games players will have a good balanced diet. Stay away from fatty food example Jung food like hunger Jacks. They will eat cereal, fruits, bakebeans, poached eggs. Healthy lunch. Rice with chicken and vegetables. They will hydrate themselves a day before, during and after game.
How do players recover from injuries?
• Depending on what injury players will go and see the club doctors/ physio to access what injuring they have and take the right course of actions. Example slight corked area ice, compression and elevation any bad injuries like hamstrings, knees, ankles or dislocations have to be accessed by the medical staff and appropriate action then needs to be done for the player to come back as soon as possible.
