Port Orchard plans a pedes-trian and bicycle pathway along the waterfront from downtown Port Orchard to Annapolis. Five houses along the route have been identified as possible candidates for acquisition by eminent domain, although there are other alternatives and the City Council has not made the decision to acquire them yet.
