Access from the port to the surroundinghinterland could not be easier – direct link via Stadium Drive to Longman Roundaboutthat in turn leads to the A9 in both north and south directions.

Main entranceA new main entrance has been completedand trials undertaken confirm that blades ofup to 50m in length can be accommodated.

Shipping InformationShipping to and from the port is undertakenfrom two hours prior up to HW – shallowdrafted vessels may be worked round theclock. Ship dimensions guaranteed for any tide are as follows:

Length: 100mBeam: 17.2mDraught: 5.3mAir Draught: 29m max

Larger ships up to 125m length and 6m draught may be accommodated. Contact the Port Office to discuss.

Open Storage/Laydown FacilitiesNorth Longman Quay – 20,000m2

Longman Quay – 16,000m2

Heavy Lift PadOn the North Longman Quay, there is a dedicated heavy lift pad that can take single lifts of up to 200 tonnes – this can be increased significantly with the use of spreaders.

Covered/Semi Covered Storagee port has three modern transit sheds withfloor areas of 1,730m2, 1,238m2 and 1,680m2

respectively. In addition, there are twocanopied areas of semi-covered storagetotalling 1,930m2 and one open gable bulkstorage facility of 2,050m2.
