When the Bowker Motor Group opened its state-of-the-art Porsche centre in Preston, they wanted an audio visual solution able to create an exclusive and satisfying retail experience.

The impressive 43,000 square foot centre, featuring a 35-car showroom, 13-bay workshop, meeting rooms and customer hosting zones, is the second largest in the UK and attracts clients from across the North-West of England.

The solution

The audio visual system designed and delivered by Pure AV includes zoned background audio, displays and meeting room technology.

Background audio is delivered throughout the building to create a welcoming environment for visitors. Bose speakers are RAL paint coded to match the surroundings and create a subtle audio backdrop as clients move around the showroom.

The system also offers a building-wide paging facility and cloud-based control enables staff to choose between three different audio sources within each of the eight audio zones.

Clean lines are an essential part of the showroom aesthetic, and meeting spaces use Barco Clickshare wireless presentation systems to keep tabletops clear. At the same time, Bose ceiling speakers provide discreet, high-quality audio enhancement.

Large-format LG screens within the meeting spaces and showroom areas provide visitors with access to premium quality images, showcasing marketing content and clear visuals for product customisation and selection.

In the boardroom, a Crestron Mercury conferencing system with Huddly IQ camera creates an intuitive BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) solution for video conferencing and presentation. The auto framing functionality of the Huddly IQ, and integrated 360° quad microphone array of the Crestron system, ensuring an optimised experience for room users.
