Located in a little town near Valencia called Moncada there is a little space between two residential buildings were a public library has to be placed, so we have only two façades aviable. The long one, about 16 meters looks to west so we have to protect it for the sunsun specially in august. Here borns the idea to make the façade looks like a plenty bookcase with the concrete slats between floor to protect it of the sun. The width of the plot is just 6 meters more or less and we want the library to look to the inside so we createcreate a little long and narrow court-yard to allow the light to come in the different rooms.
