Analysis:-The shots shows the artist in the bottom left of the screen so the audience can mainly see the field and the balloons, which draws the audiences attention to the fun and girly aspect.-The pink field still keeps within the theme, which allows the audience to feel the romance, conveyed in the lyrics. Also, as it is current throughout the whole video, it allows the audience to not get distracted by anything else and to adopt the flirty, feminine romance portrayed.-The audience also gets a sense of fun from this shot from the balloons which are in feminine colours. This also illustrated the lyrics and upbeat music which emits happiness, fun and romance to them.-Her outfit, as well as also being feminine, keeps to the convention of sexuality as it shows off her body. However, this is contrasted by the white, which represents purity.

Edit:The next shot shows a mid shot of the artist in the right of the shot though the camera pans right so the artist is in the center of the shot, displaying to the audience the ongoing movement which conveys the upbeat pop song, yet also confirms that she is the center of attention.

Shot Type: Long Shot – emphasizes the emptiness of the location which is established with the placement of the artist as it shows the audience the location but conveys her being the ‘only girl’ and that she is on top of the world, relative to the lyrics.

Analysis:-This shot is very illustrative of the lyrics as it shows the artist at the side of the shot with the rest of the location looking empty, representing the rest of the world and she is by on her own looking free an in a state of ecstasy which conveys her rapture of being made to feel like the ‘only girl in the world.’-The colours are still within the flirtatious, girly theme, making the audience feel safe within the theme, but also feel flirty and empowered.-Her dress also follows this code, but blends into the background, creating an illusion of not wearing clothes which illustrates the sexuality of the song. However, the bottom of her dress is a bright, hot orange and is ruffled which stands out against the rock and so draws attention to that region and suggesting that she is on fire – a sexual suggestion which follows the pop convention.

Edit:The video cuts to a mid shot of the artist, though the camera is placed slightly behind the artist which displays to the audience that she is the dominant figure, illustrative of the lyrics that she is the ‘only girl in the world.’ Also, the camera keeps in with the 180° rule as the shot is still on the right hand side of the artist.

Analysis:-The shot shows an extreme close up of the artists face, again, bringing attention back to her to let the audience know that this is the face of the artist, so to remind them who’s product they’re buying into, which is common in this genre and is seen in Justin Bieber - Baby.-The artist also has a seductive smirk on her face, illustrating to the audience the sexual nature of the lyrics of making ‘it last all night.’ -The flirty, girly pink undertones are also present, keeping in with the theme that suggests that the target audience is females from these colours but also due to the flirtatiousness of them, making women feel empowered in their sexuality.

It is also includes stop motion quick cuts which cuts on the beat, keeping in with upbeat tone, conventional of the genre.

Shot Type: Close Up shot – though the main focus is the artists breasts as you can’t see her face, reinforcing the sexuality of the song. The shot is also in slow motion, highlighting to the audience this section which is an important piece of narrative and also the intensity of it.

Analysis:-This shot shows the artist in an almost sexual pose, that only an older audience would recognise which is illustrative of the song as it and shows the artist to be in a state of bliss.-Her breasts are also the center of the shot, and so focus, illustrating the sexual nature of the song and also a common convention, seen with other artists such as Nicki Minaj.-The fireworks represent sex to the audience, which come from the expression of ‘fireworks in the bedroom’ which the older audience will understand. This is also suggested by the use of smoke to represent the heat of sex. This displays to the audience intensity and the power of sex conveyed in this song. This entices women to want to do the same and can do through this song, therefore selling more records.-It is shown to be night time and, to some people, this is a sexual time of day, and also conveys the end of the song as night represents an end to the day.
