Ed Heck’s enigmatic canvases were first exhibited at Artexpo in 1999 and were an instant hit. His pop art style combines animation-like subject matter with an evocative use of color, coupling a wry sense of humor with generous doses of irony. His popular paintings and prints can be found in galleries around the world. His images can be found on many products including calendars, note cards, home furnishings and plush toys. Ed is also the author and illustrator of seven children’s books. Carmine Appice (Ozzy Osbourne, Rod Stewart, Vanilla Fudge, Jeff Beck to name a few) has enjoyed an amazing 40 year career as a rock star, music educator, and rock pioneer. He is widely considered to be one of the most accomplished showmen in rock. He is the recipient of numerous awards including dozens of gold and platinum selling records. Carmine has co-wrote such monster selling hits as "Do Ya Think I’m Sexy" and "Young Turks". He has broken new ground in every aspect of his career; as a performer, as a teacher, and as a writer. Ed and Carmine will be premiering the original painting and limited edition prints of "Drum City". As the title suggests, it depicts a city made of drums under a starry night. The painting was the catalyst for a series of paintings and limited edition prints by the duo that depict famous places and structures around the world made of drums. They will be signing posters of "Drum City" at The World of Ed Heck Booth # 2509 Saturday, February 28th and Sunday March 1st from 1:30 to 3:00 pm each day.
