Discover this wonderful New Forest Holiday Cottage

Poona Cottage is a delightful detached self

catering Period holiday cottage, finished to

a very high standard both inside and out,

with an inviting cosy feel, that sleeps up to

six people on the edge of the New Forest

National Park, newly renovated in 2010.

The oak beams and inglenook fire place

have been retained in order to keep as much

olde world charm as possible, but with a

modern twist.

There are three bedrooms, the main

bedroom has a king size bed and is

accessed via its own staircase and has its

own en suite shower room.

The two further bedrooms are accessed

via a further staircase which comprise of

one room containing a king size bed and a

smaller twin bedroom containing two single

beds. These two bedrooms share a toilet

and washroom.

The main bathroom is on the ground floor

with a large bath and a separate walk in

shower.

You are welcome to relax in the cottage’s

main lounge, it has a TV and woodburning

stove, so is the perfect place to relax after a

day exploring the delights of the New Forest.

There is also a second smaller lounge which

has a further TV. Off the main lounge is a

further small room, which contains a small

supply of books and games.

The kitchen dining room which is fully

equipped, has a cooker, fridge, dishwasher

and dining table, with a small utility room

which contains a freezer, microwave and

washing machine, everything you need for

a great holiday. The kitchen has bifold doors

which lead out to a secluded courtyard with

table, chairs and barbecue. A great place to

enjoy on pleasant summer evenings.

The large enclosed garden is filled with

cottage style flowers and shrubs, creating a

great place to relax too.

Poona Cottage Self Catering has gas central

heating through out.

Bed linen and towels are provided.

Children are welcome, but should be

supervised.

Poona Cottage is ideally situated to explore the

New Forest National Park with great links to the

M27 - you are quickly at your destination and the

perfect place for not only enjoying the best the

New Forest has to offer, but fantastic days out too:

Within the National Park area itself there

numerous attractions including Beaulieu National

Motor Museum, Exbury Gardens, New Forest

Water Park, Paultons Park (ideal for children),

the unique New Forest Villages of Beaulieu,

Brockenhurst, Burley, Lymington, and Lyndhurst,

to enjoy - each with there own unique shops and

character.

There are beaches and coastal paths to explore,

woodlands to wander through, cycle trails to

follow and an opportunity to try horse riding or

take to the water and have your first sail, rib ride

or kayak.

In the immediate area around our self catering

cottage, there are some lovely character pubs

- even within walking distance and a very good

quality bistro/restaurant, which is perfect for an

evening out and a stroll back home. Should you

wish to eat in, there is a supermarket about 15

minutes drive away and there are a couple of

other local shops situated around Cadnam.

Further afield, why not enjoy a great day out and

discover:

� The Cathedral City of Salisbury

� The Navy Docklands, Maritime Museums and

Spinnakar Tower that Portsmouth offers

� The historic city of Winchester with a working

water wheel

� Bournemouth, has great sandy beaches,

plenty of summer events, an Oceararium and

the International Exhibition Centre (BIC)

� Exploring the gardens and buildings at

Mottisfont Abbey

� Southampton with its links to the Titanic and

ancient city walls and superb shopping and

entertainment facilities

� The Isle of Wight - is just a ferry trip away and

you can choose to travel from Lymington or

Southampton for a great day out

� Spend a day fishing at Broadlands Lakes

- day tickets available or enjoy Broadlands

House and gardens

� Have a day of excitement at Calshot Activity

Centre - try rock climbing, sailing, skiing or

snowboarding

� Numerous golf courses in the surrounding

area
