Nošene zvukom svog instrumenta, glazbenice ujedno proširuju zvukovnu ljestvicu pa uvrštavaju u ansambl i alt flautu, bas flautu i piccolo flautu. Kvartet je surađivao s brojnim glazbenicima, poput flautistica Tjaše Kuštrin, Helene Potočnik, Irene Rovtar i Jane Fajdiga, udaraljkaša Vojislava Čičića i Špele Mastnak, mezzosopranistice Tihane Herceg-Ivšić i sopranistice Klasje Modrušan, pijanistice Zrinke Ivančić, harfistice Diane Grubišić Ćiković i klarinetista Milka Pravdića. Kvartet flauta 4 Syrinx dosad je objavio tri nosača zvuka. 4 Syrinx Flute Quartet was formed in 2001 by four musicians, professionally active in orchestras and pedagogical activities. The quartet formed by two Croatian and two Slovenian musicians is a result of previous experiences and exchange through cultural, pedagogical and musical activities in Croatia and Slovenia. Inspired by the sound of their instrument, these musicians are also widening their timbral palette by adding piccolo, alto and bass flutes into the ensemble. The quartet has so far given a number of outstanding performances, forming a homogeneous sound in their remarkably attuned play, with a refined sense of musical style and phrasing, as well as a clear sound and impeccable tone. The ensemble interprets original works of the standard repertoire for classical flute quartet, contributing this way to familiarizing the audience with the original repertoire, but also with the contemporary music repertoire. Rich repertoire of the 4 Syrinx Quartet is continually expanded with pieces by contemporary composers who, inspired by the artistic approach and interpretations of this ensemble, compose especially for them. The most recent is Allegro con brio by Miljenko Prohaska. The quartet has collaborated with numerous musicians, such as flutists Tjaša Kuštrin, Helena Potočnik, Irena Rovtar and Jana Fajdiga, percussionists Vojislav Čičić and Špela Mastnak, mezzo-soprano Tihana Herceg-Ivšić and soprano Klasja Modrušan, pianist Zrinka Ivančić, harpist Diana Grubišić Ćiković and clarinetist Milko Pravdić. 4 Syrinx Flute Quartet has published three CDs.
