Many local building codes require a certain color PVC for the specific application,

Usually, the gray will have a larger amount of Ultraviolet protection added, because of outdoor electrical use,

Gray PVC, with UV-resistance added can last up to 10 years in an outdoor application,

The older the PVC gets the more brittle it becomes,

Thickness of PVC piping is determined by it’s “Schedule”,

The thicker the wall of the pipe the higher the schedule,

Schedule 40 is the standard for most plumbing projects,

3. Copy the MSDS sheet into word, Save the One page report and MSDS sheet to

your Sharepoint folder, create a folder for “PVC plastics”, and name your report and MSDS sheet “PVC Plastic”,
