Elementary school: my father had traveled to

China for business trips.

High school: first incoming class of freshmen that had Chinese offered to them. First experience in China.

College: taken Chinese courses and went abroad through the Chengdu program.

If at the international level the rise in

authoritarianism were to offset the democratic government, then the political and economic characteristics of the “China Model” will be seen as a working model.
