GLOBALIZATIONIs the process through which an increasingly free flow of ideas, people, goods, services, technology and capital leads to the integration of economies and societies at a speed unprecedented in effect and outcomes.

COLD WARIs the conflict between the United States and the USSR. It has its own perspective of the globe; the world was divided into the socialist block and the capitalist camp with some neutral states in between. It created a worldwide anxiety over nuclear annihilation due to the arms race.
