The November election might turn out to be the most important of the 21 st century so far. Although it may seem like we say this every year, I believe it has never been truer. Over the past two years, unions have been forced to defend ourselves from vicious attacks from anti-labor groups and politicians. In addition, we have been fighting to protect the plumbing licensing law against non-union and other trade groups alike. That is why I am asking you as well as your family and friends to vote for the labor friendly candidates that we are endorsing in the letter. These candidates have worked to support working families and the plumbing licensing law. Over the next three Saturdays before the election, Local 130’s Political Action Task Force (PATF) will be helping our political friends by getting the vote out. I encourage you to volunteer a couple hours of your time each Saturday to help these candidates. There will be several locations from which you may choose and all will be listed each week on our website at www.ualocal130.org. Should you have any questions regarding these endorsed candidates or the PATF Saturdays, please contact John D’Amico, Political Director, at (312) 421-1010, ext. 129. Fraternally yours, James F. Dear Brothers & Sisters,

In the midst of a global pandemic and economic downturn, a heated and unusual

Presidential election is drawing closer to its end. The November election might

turn out to be the most important of the 21st century so far. Although it may

seem like we say this every year, I believe it has never been truer.

Over the past two years, unions have been forced to defend ourselves from

vicious attacks from anti-labor groups and politicians. In addition, we have been

fighting to protect the plumbing licensing law against non-union and other trade

groups alike.

That is why I am asking you as well as your family and friends to vote for the labor

friendly candidates that we are endorsing in the letter. These candidates have

worked to support working families and the plumbing licensing law.

Over the next three Saturdays before the election, Local 130’s Political Action

Task Force (PATF) will be helping our political friends by getting the vote out. I

encourage you to volunteer a couple hours of your time each Saturday to help

these candidates. There will be several locations from which you may choose and

all will be listed each week on our website at www.ualocal130.org.

Should you have any questions regarding these endorsed candidates or the PATF

Saturdays, please contact John D’Amico, Political Director, at (312) 421-1010, ext.

129.
