Main aims of the Platform activity
to build a platform between science and industry in scope of
development of new Biotechnologies
to integrate key economic and research partners interested in
technologies based on bioprocesses

to take optimum advantage from Structural Funds

Industrial Biotechnology:
Replacement of traditional non-biological industrial processes with bioprocesses and obtaining high added-value products:
- bio-pharmaceutics- new biocatalysts- particular chemicals and semi-finished products for pharmaceutical and cosmetic industry- new generation food products- bio-pesticide
Production of biomaterials (e.g. bio-degradating plastics) and bio-fuels from renewable raw materials
