Important OHS Information for students

BACKGROUNDThis document, once all components have been completed,along with any relevant supporting documentation will form a Portfolio of your assessment. The purpose of this Portfolio is to demonstrate that you have the theoretic knowledge of developing and cultivating collaborative partnerships and relationships plus the skills and abilities to lead and implement a collaborative partnership plan within an organisation. You will demonstrate this through completion of all the assessment requirements to the mandatory standard of “BSBDLR803 Develop and cultivate collaborative partnerships and relationships”.
Components of the assessmentThe assessment consists of three parts:
Project 1– Collaborative Partnership Plan – The development of a Collaborative Strategy which comprises five (5) distinct sub-strategies within the plan
o Aligning Organisational Cultureo Communication Strategyo Partnership Program o Staff Development and Performance Strategyo Evaluation Strategy
Project 2 - Presentation – a 20-minute presentation on your Collaborative Partnership Plan Project 3 - Knowledge Questions – assessing your theoretic knowledge

document Written work must be in your own words. Cutting and pasting from internet or other
documentation will be considered plagiarism All projects and written work must be completed to business standard including

PROJECT 1 Develop a Collaborative Partnership PlanLearner Instructions
This project requires you to demonstrate that you have the knowledge, skills and abilities to:
Lead by example through strong ethical beliefs and high personal performance Understand how emotional intelligence skills are essential to partnership building and a
positive work environment Utilise varying approaches to support collaborative partnerships Develop and lead the communication strategy for various stakeholders and audiences Lead the establishment of a partnership program Encourage, support and upskill staff enabling them to embrace collaborative practices Generate and implement reporting systems
Activities
You are required to undertake the following activities to complete the Collaborative Partnership Plan
Select an organisation of your choice:
Select an organisation of your choice. It is suggested you select an organisation that you have strong industry knowledge and experience in. You must be familiar enough with the organisation to have an understanding of the nature of their business to the extent you can identify relevant stakeholders, opportunities for collaboration and potential partnership alliances. You may decide to choose an organisation that you have previously worked in.
Develop a collaborative partnership plan is a template for the development of the “Collaborative Partnership Plan” in. The template is divided into 5 sub-strategies under the major heading of:
o Aligning Organisational Cultureo Communication Strategyo Partnership Program o Staff Development and Performance Strategyo Evaluation Strategy
This template and headings in this document are there to guide you through developing and writing up your plan. You must cover off onall listed topic headings and sub-headings in the template ensuring you address the performance criteriabe eligible to receive a satisfactory grade.

Yourpartnership plan must be comprehensive and detailed enough to demonstrate that you are able to:

PROJECT 2 Presentation of partnership plan
Learner InstructionsThis project is designed to demonstrate that you have the leadership skills in creating a culture of collaboration and trust.This project is based on performance evidence which means you must demonstrate that you have the ability to lead the establishment of a partnership program. Specifically:
Engage with staff and other stakeholders in establishing successful partnership and relationship
Establish leadership to articulate the vision, mission and values of the organisation Provide leadership to establish strong partnerships, alliance and collaborative communities
Part 1 Make a presentation
Your presentation must be professional, persuasive as well asdemonstratinga strong understanding of collaboration and the requirements to build partnerships.Your PowerPoint presentation must be of business standard and well formatted for ease of reading. Your presentation style will be of a management standard demonstrating the appropriate leadership style. You will need a minimum of 5 slides preferably utilising the above headings with detailed notes pages. Please make certain you cover off on all areas listed above. The presentation slides and notes pages form part of the evidence of your assessment and need to be included when submitting your comprehensive project documentation

The second component of the presentation is your participation as a stakeholder during other presentations. You will be required to attend all presentations and have a least one question or comment prepared for each presentation. You will be called upon to take part in the question and answer component of each presentation.

PROJECT 3: Supplementary QuestionsLearner InstructionsYou are required to answer a series of knowledge questions which pertain to developing and cultivating partnerships and relationships, therefore this assessment is a theory-based assessment gauging your level of knowledge on the theory of building partnerships. You will gain your understanding collaborative partnerships through attending the classes, participating and taking of notes. You will further enhance your knowledge through adequately researching during projects 1 and 2. These questions must be answered in your own words and must directly address the question asked in the correct context of building partnerships and relationships.
A total word count must be included at the end of the questionnaire excluding the questions.
