It is clear that the Government has laid the requiredpolicies to:

Ensure competitive policy is in place that required

for ICT to grow. Pushed the public and private sector to embrace

ICT and related technology by creating the neededinfrastructure (fibre optic and data communication)

and providing tax shield for companies and MSC-status from both domestic and foreign countrieswhich setup their manufacturing base at Cyberjayaand other MSC areas.

    1. The government has built the infostructure ready for thedeployment of ICT, however many SMEs still lacking toembrace ICT due to non-skilled labour and the cost oftransformation the operation to ICT related technology is stillexpensive

    2. Need highly skilled labour to operate the ICT system, thelabout need to be trained and this can start early as insecondary schools (i.e: vocational and sekolah bistari)

    3. Malaysia still lacking in the innovative creation of ICTproduct to compete in the global market. we need to spendon R&D centers and this can be done by providing a high taxshield for companies which have R&D division
