by the Ferenc Mádl Institute of Comparative Law.

Prof. Dr. János Ede Szilágyi obtained his law degree at the University of Miskolc. He has also started his scientific career at the University of Miskolc where he defended his PhD thesis and proved his excellent teaching skills by performing his habilitation. He carries out research mainly on topics connected to environmental law and agricultural law. Currently, he is full professor and the Head of Department of Agricultural and Labour Law at the University of Miskolc. Since 2019, he has been the Head of the Ferenc Mádl Institute of Com-parative Law. He is editor-in-chief of the journals titled ’Journal of Agricultural and Environmental Law’ and ’Central European Journal of Comparative Law’. He is a member of the Board of Directors of European Public Law Organization, the Hun-garian Deputy Delegate of the Management Board of Comité Européen de Droit Rural, a member of the Editorial Board of Legal Issues in Transdisciplinary Envi-ronmental Studies (Springer), Law in Action (Prawo w Działaniu), and Hungarian Yearbook of International Law and European Law. He is a member of the Scientific Committee of CEDR Journal of Rural Law, The Legal Culture (Kultura Prawna), Riv-ista Quadrimestrale di Diritto dell’Ambiente and P.A.-Persona e Amministrazione.

János Szinek, LL.M. is a PhD candidate at the Ferenc Deák Doctoral School of Law at the University of Miskolc, Hungary. After graduating from the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences of the Pázmány Péter Catholic University in Budapest, he completed a postgraduate LL.M. curse in Media Law. His main field of researches are media law, the law of social media, legal issues in new media, IT law, and as well as copyright law. His work in the field of legal comparison focuses on the comparison of the public law of V4+ countries. János also works as a professional partner coordinator and project manager in various international projects.

Bálint Kovács, LL.M., is a PhD candidate at the Marton Géza Doctoral School of Legal Studies at Debrecen University, Hungary and teaches International Economic Law at Sapientia University in Cluj-Napoca/Kolozsvár, Romania. His research focuses mainly on international investment law, but he is also inter-ested in general international law, human rights law, specifically minority rights and a number of other topics. Before fully focusing on his research he worked as a legal advisor for a number of SMEs and NGOs and also worked as a professional in the field of insolvency.

Álmos Ungvári, is a PhD candidate at the Doctoral School of Law and Political Sciences of the Pázmány Péter Catholic University in Budapest, Hungary and teaches Administrative Law at Pázmány Péter Catholic University in Budapest. He is interested in constitutional law and administrative law, but his research focuses mainly on the topic of special legal order.

Laszlo Dornfeld, is a PhD candidate at the Ferenc Deak Doctoral School of Law at Miskolc University, Hungary. He is currently employed as a researcher at the Fer-enc Mádl Institute of Comparative Law, Department of Public Law in Budapest. He is the co-president of the PhD Section of the Hungarian Society of Criminology. His research focuses on the investigation of cybercrimes, cybercriminology and dig-ital forensics. He is also interested in other topics, such as constitutional law, EU and international law and geopolitics, authoring many works in a wide variety of topics, both in Hungarian and English, and organizing various international projects. He worked as a scientific intern at the Cybercrime Department of the National Bureau of Investigation.

Roland Szymczykiewicz – attorney, specialist in penal law. He runs his on law firm in Warsaw. He’s also an academic teacher at UKSW in Warsaw (University named by Cardinal Stephen Wyszyński) on Law Faculty (subjet: polish penal proce-dure). He’s an author of many reaserches and articles about penal law nad penal procedure.

Ewa Płocha – is an assistant at the Department of Criminal Procedure at the Insti-tute of Legal Sciences at the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński in Warsaw. Specializes in particular in the Japanese criminal process, in the application of modern technologies – heading with artifi-cial intelligence – in the criminal process.

Dr Marcin Rau is an assistant professor at the Department of Criminal Procedure at the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw and also a former visit-ing scholar at the Italian and German universities. His research interests focus on international law, new media and illicit trade in works of art. His doctorate on art crimes was recognized as the best doctoral dissertation in the field of legal sciences in Poland in 2020.
