Course DescriptionMaster the skills of lung and pleural ultrasound and learn how to integrate this modality into your practice with leaders in the field of point of care ul-trasound. Practice pathology recognition using state-of-the-art ultrasound simulators during the numerous hands-on practice sessions under the su-pervision of seasoned clinicians.
Course ObjectivesAt the conclusion of this CME activity, participants should be better able to:• Discuss the value, benefits, indications and limitations of lung and pleural ultrasound• Demonstrate skills in acquiring and knowledge in interpreting lung and pleural ultrasound images• Integrate lung and pleural ultrasound to clinical practice for more effective diagnosis and improved patient care
Target AudienceThe course is designed to meet the needs of physicians specializing in anes-thesiology, pulmonology, emergency medicine, intensive care and cardiol-ogy, as well as other health care providers using lung and pleural ultrasound, including cardiac sonographers interested in complementing their knowl-edge of the cardiac ultrasound exam.
